Thursday Thirteen (satuday at cedar point)

Today for my Thursday Thirteen post I'm going to share with you 13 pictures from our trip to Cedar Point this past Saturday.
Mr Man's birthday is next month but Cedar Point isn't open then and he is tall enough now to ride roller coasters. So as an early birthday gift we thought we would give him a day at the Point.
Mr Man and I took off after Princess volleyball game and got there shortly after they opened. My Grandma and my mom watched Sweet Pea and DH took Princess to her softball practices

Mr Man and I had a fun afternoon hopping from one coaster to the next. We stopped and took a break to eat and elephant ear and drink a pop.. and take the above photos..
As we were walking Mr Man asked if he could take a picture of these below so I handed him my camera phone and he took this shot.

He didn't want to pose for this next one but mommy wanted this shot.. so he did it for me.

Out of all the coaster Mr Man was big enough to ride the Iron Dragon was his favorite and we kept riding it over and over.. It didn't hurt that the wait for this one was only like 30 mins where all the others were about an hour. It was crazy this place was packed.

After Princess's softball DH and Princess thought they would drive on up and meet us to spend the evening with us.. They called us when they got to the parking lot so we could meet them at the gate. ONLY it took them forever to find parking every spot was filled, so DH ended up making his only parking spot and hoped he wouldn't get a ticket. While we were waiting Mr Man and I thought we would take a horse ride.

It is Hallow Weekends at Ceder Point right now and they do a Halloween parade and have all sort of Halloween sort of stuff going on. Here are some friendly monsters doing the electric slide.

Around 7:30pm we thought we would get a bit to eat at the Pizza place there.. Even the food places had long lines.. I think we waited about 30 minutes to just order the pizza.. but We were all ok with that.. Mr Man and I had been there since noon walking and standing so sitting down at the table while DH waited in line didn't seem too bad.. The next 3 photos were from our dinner
#8 DH and Mr Man

#9 Princess and Mr Man
#10 Me
After dinner we did some more rides and watched an inning of the Indians game which they were showing on there big screen.. DH was very happy to see that. Then we hit the arcade for a game of air hockey and bowling.

here are 2 bonus photos
1st one is of Mr Man and DH waiting to get on the antic cars
and the 2nd one is of Princess, Mr Man and myself after the ferris wheel ride and right before heading home..

It was a wonderful fun time, the kids slept really good that night also.

Cedar Point is my favorite childhood memory.... I loved it! Haven't been there in so many years, can't wait until the kids are tall enough to go on the rides.
