Weekend recap & menu plan monday(4/30/07)

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It was sunny and warm here and the kids enjoyed playing outside for most of it.
If you have been following our spring vacation post I did get a new one posted last night you can find it here and if your here looking for the photo of me with out make up you can click here
Friday I was sick and didn't leave the house, Saturday I still was not feeling well so DH took Mr Man to his soccer game while I stayed home in bed. I did get up and moving a little to take Princess to her fund raiser for her softball team, but once I got home from that I was done for the day and just crashed at home while DH took the kids to the park and cared for them the rest of the night.
Sunday I felt much better my head would still hurt from time to time but the tummy bug was gone and so was the fever. Sunday was my only day to really enjoy the weekend, we spent it at church and with family. After church we had lunch at my in laws house, it was nice she cooked hamburgers on the grill and we hadn't been over there for sometime to eat so the kids enjoyed it, Plus they love eating outside anyways. After lunch DH took the older kids to the ball Fields in the town we grew up in and played balled with them while I went and visited with my parents.. I also got some time on my dads new road runner Internet connection.. WOW talk about fast. and here I though my DSL was fast.. Since my computer isn't working right I used that time at my moms to add some photos to my blog to share with you all down the road some time.

My menu plan this week isn't anything fancy.. DH did the shopping this weekend by himself while I was laying in bed sick. I'm surprised we aren't eating hot dogs and pizza every day of the week. BUT we did end up with hot dogs again and smoked sausage again this week like we did last week.. I'm not complaining though I was in no shape to be out at a grocery store so I'm thankful he did that and I didn't have too.

Monday: Hot dogs, Hot Italian Sausage on the grill and french fries.

Tuesday: Turkey Breast and gravy, mash potatoes and corn with garlic bread.

Wednesday: Sloppy Joe's, green beans and french fries

Thursday: We are trying a new recipe I found last week over at Come To the Table.(DH followed my list for this one LOL) Slow Cooker Italian Shredded Beef Hoagies We are having this with baked potatoes

Friday: smoked sausage, green beans and Mac n cheese.

Spring Vacation 2007 Day#3 (The Last Part)

So here I am again still blogging about day 3 of our Vacation. This is the last of the Day 3 Spring Vacation post :) The only reason I have so much to blog about, about this day is because it was Easter. So we had to have the Easter Bunny/Easter Basket post. and The Traditional Easter dress up photo shots.. So This post will be about how we spent the rest of Easter day after we got out of church. Normally when we are home it would have been spent with my parents and grandparents having a big Easter dinner, but since we were on vacation this year we had to miss the family dinner. Still we wanted a nice Easter dinner.
That nice meal was had at The Old Mill Restaurant. If you ever find yourself in Pigeon Forge TN. this is a must. The food is soooooooooo good. It's such a pretty setting also just makes for a wonder time. Here are the kids around the table waiting for there food.

After dinner the kids wanted to feed the ducks again, so out behind the restaurant is where they headed for the next 30 to 40 minutes.. Here is a shot of Little Man running around while they were feeding birds and ducks. Then we headed into Gatlinburg and hung out a bit. This next shot is of Mr Man and Sweet Pea while in Gatlinburg . After we left that town we took a drive up into the mountain and stopped along the way to take some photos.. During this time Little Man took a nap.
Below is another shot of Mr Man and Sweet Pea while in the mountainThis Last one is of Princess still with her new sunglasses on(OH I should point out that she lost these new sunglasses this past Monday while at her softball practise, so today she used her own money and bought herself new ones) This was also while we were up on the mountain. After we came out of the mountain and got back into Pigeon Forge, we were driving to our hotel and there was a camel.. Yes a lady with a Camel so we had to stop to show the kids, but after that we went back to the hotel had supper and then let the kids swim the rest of the day. While I packed up all our stuff.
We got the kids in bed by 10pm that night and at 11pm we were out loading up the van.. You see we were leaving TN at 4am and driving 9 1/2 hours to Dayton Beach Florida the next day.
I'll get around to posting about that soon, but I don't have the pictures online ready to view of Florida just yet so it might take a day or two. but be looking for it.
If your just joining my spring vacation 2007 post you can get caught up here

To view all the photos we too while in Gatlinburg and on our trip in the mountain on Easter Sunday you can view them all here

Getting Real (bloggers without make-up)

Steph over at Adventures in Babywearing is having a contest in the form of a photo Tag. She is calling it Bloggers Without Make-up

Well folks it doesn't get anymore real then this. This was me this evening around 8pm. I took a shower at 7pm and did nothing to my hair except brush it and let it dry on its own. There is NO make up at all UGH!!!!!!!!! look at those dark circles under my eyes.. and I'm wearing a very old like 7 1/2 year old tore and ragged t-shirt that I would never wear outside the house and only wear in the house when I'm cleaning and don't want to mess up a good shirt or when I'm just plan not feeling well and want to be comfy..

Little man has been sick the past 3 days running a fever and not sleeping much at all at night which in returns mean neither has mommy.. and then yesterday I got sick UGH it was awful.. Then Step tagged me with this.. I was thinking YEAH right I don't think so.. But today I'm feeling 60% better so I went ahead and played..
So are you all ready for me no make up, in old raggedy cloth and not doing a darn thing to my hair.. READY OR NOT HERE I AM...

If you played let me know.. and don't forget to go sign the link over at Stephs blog so you have a chance to win some cool prizes..

Spring Vacation Day #3 (part 2 Easter)

It's normally tradition to get the kids picture all together before heading off to church on Easter Sunday, ONLY it wasn't happening yet again this year(last year it didn't happen either) Once again Little Man was not having any part of getting a group shot. We did get a few mess around shots that will work. Here is a shot of Princess posing with her new shades.
Here is one of Mr Man
Sweet Pea posing with her new shades (you know monkey see, monkey do)

We tried to get Little Man to stand on the stairs also but like I said he wanted no part of getting his picture taken.
After baskets and breakfast and doing this photo shoot we went to church.

We are Baptist so we picked a Baptist church that was just down the street from our hotel right there on the parkway in Pigeon Forge. All I could say was "WOW" LOL.. Or in the words of Mr Man "I've never been to a church like this before"

Our church at home is a small conservative church, it doesn't even have a praise band(by choice) We Preach from the KJV and sing the old time hymns

So it was like a shock when the choir started to sing a really contemporary song, no contemporary song wasn't the shock LOL that we have heard and listen to at home from time to time, But when they had 8 ladies all dress in black take center stage and started to dance.. that was a 1st for us to see while at church. Not to mention the floating Jesus they had ascending from behind the choir at the end of there song...

Just wasn't exactly what we had in mind for Easter morning church services.. It was more like what I would except if I was to go to one of the many theaters they have there at Pigeon Forge.. I guess maybe with there church right there on the Parkway that is what they are going for, competing with all the shows..

They did get into preaching which was some what normal. After church we went out for a nice lunch and that is where I'll pick up next time with our Spring Vacation post.

If you have missed Day #1, Day #2 or Day #3 part 1 just click on the day you missed and you can get caught up.

To see all the pics of the kids before church posing and my attempt at getting a group shot you can view them all here.

Spring Vacation Day #3 (Part 1 Easter Baskets)

Day #3. I'm up to Day 3 of my post about our Spring Vacation which started on April 6, 2007 and we got home on April 14, 2007. Day 3 I'm breaking up into 3 smaller post instead of one large one because Day #3 was EASTER. So we had to do the normal Easter stuff that meant ALOT of photos taken that day.
We started the morning off Early.. Mr Man and Sweet Pea were the 1st two of the kids up shortly followed by Little Man and then Princess.. Everyone wanting to find there Easter Baskets..
DH woke up when he heard the kids but pretended to stay asleep.. knowing that I don't let the kids find there baskets until everyone is awake.. So the kids all took turns trying to wake daddy up by shaking him, jumping on him and it ended with Mr Man and Princess Pulling him while Little Man and Sweet Pea pushed him off the bed. He and the kids always seem to enjoy this on both Easter and Christmas morning.
We also take turns letting each of the kids find there baskets so we each can enjoy the hunt of each kid. NO I'm not some mean mom who came up with this rule, but it is how the kids want to do it because they all enjoy trying to help each other figure out where the stuff is hid.
This year we started with the youngest and went to the oldest. Trust me the Easter Bunny had his/her work cut out for her/him this year being in a hotel room for Easter. Thankfully we had a townhouse room upstairs/down stairs sort of room so I(oopes I mean the Easter Bunny) had a little more room to work with in hiding the baskets.
The Easter Bunny hid Little Man's basket on the stair case this year under a towel, he is little after all it couldn't be too hard. Here he is with Sweet pea checking out his goodies. The Easter bunny is a smart little fellow, He knew the next day we were loading up the van and heading south down to Florida for a spring break on the beach, So instead of your normal Easter Basket he filled all the goodies into new sand buckets. Then instead of your normal Easter Grass(which I can't stand anyways, it gets everywhere) the bucket was lined with a new Beach towel. Little Man Got a Thomas the Tank towel, a Green bucket and shovel, suntan lotion and a Thomas the tank push along, with sound flash light train. Along with the normal jelly beans, candy and chocolate bunny.
Didn't take him long at all to dig into that candy. Eating it paper and all. LOL Wonderful Easter breakfast don't ya think?

Next up was Sweet Pea, her basket was hid under the stair case surround by a rolled up sleeping bag and pillow where we had been storing the extra pillows and sleeping bags the whole time we were there.. So it took her just a bit of looking before she found her basket.
Sweet Peas Basket was a Purple sand bucket and it came with a shovel also. She also got a pair of Little mermaid sunglasses which she is holding in the pic above, and if you look behind her in that shot along the wall you will also see her giant Little Mermaid coloring book with poster size pages. She too got all the normal candy to fill the bucket. In the photo below you will also see her New Tinker bell beach towel and on the end table next to Sweet Pea is her new can of Tinker bell spray sunscreen.

Next up was our 7 year old Mr Man.. The Easter bunny was a tricky little thing. Knowing that Little Man's basket was under a towel, and Sweet Peas were under pillows and sleeping bags, the Easter bunny went around and put towels over things that wasn't Easter baskets. Such as the bag of dirty laundry and over some extra pillows and over the small ice chest and just things to throw them off. Poor Mr Man went around the room removing all those towels thinking he found his basket only to find dirty socks.. LOL.. Cleaver little Bunny :)
After it taking the poor boy a long time and no luck we started playing hot and cold with him until he found his basket behind the curtains sitting on the windowsill. In the photo above he is walking away from the window checking out the new Force Action Light Saber the Easter bunny got him In this Shot Mr Man is checking out the rest of his loot. He got a Green bucket like Little Mans only it was bigger in size, and the light saber, and a Captain Jack beach towel, and also Pirates of the carbine sunscreen, along with the candy.
The last of our Easter basket hunters was Princess.

After seeing how long it took Mr Man to find his stuff and how Tricky the bunny was, she thought hers was going to be even harder to find.. ONLY That Silly Easter Bunny knew she would think that way so hid her basket right out in the open. That threw her a bit.. But she did find her basket in the basket that is under Little Mans stroller that you see in the photo above. That Photo is of Princess right after finding her basket. Princess got a pinkish orange sand bucket with shovel, and the beach towel she is holding in the photo above, she too got sunscreen, and a new pair of sunglasses and new earrings along with all her candy..

After all the excitement of the Easter Basket We all got dressed for church and went and ate Breakfast in the breakfast room of the hotel.

My next Spring vacation post will be part 2 of day #3 and will be of the kids all dressed up in there Easter cloths.. Maybe I'll get that posted for you all on Saturday or Sunday but I'll have it ready sometime this weekend. So check back then.

notso(Wordless Wednesday) Spring Vacation Day 2

This week I thought I would make my Wordless Wednesday post not so "Wordless" and combined it with the second post of our spring vacation.
Spring Vacation Day #2 was Saturday April 7, 2007. We were in Pigeon Forge TN. We started the day with an Easter Egg hunt. You can view a few pix of that in Last weeks Wordless Wednesday post. After the egg hunt we did a bit of sight seeing and ended up at a park where the kids spent alot of time feeding pigeons and ducks.. Little man had a blast chasing the birds and ducks around, This 1st picture is of Princess feeding the pigeons, she got these birds to come and eat the bread right off her shoe.
Once we left the park we drove into Gatlinburg and went to a mountain stream and played a bit. It was to cold to swim or walk in it but the kids had fun throwing stones into it. the next 3 photos were taken there.
This one is or Me and Mr Man.

The Next one is of Sweet Pea and Mr Man

This last one is of DH and Little Man.
After seeing the sights and eating lunch we went back to the hotel and the kids went swimming until we went and had a late dinner. Got the kids to bed after dinner so the Easter Bunny could get the baskets together and hid in the hotel room for the next morning.

Spring Vacation Day 1

My kids had spring break the week after Easter.. So we took this time to go on a family vacation. We left early in the wee hours on Good Friday which was April 6, 2007. We left our town at 4am. I had one tiny quick stop to make(yes at 4am! I needed to be sneaky for this stop) and then we were on our way.
The 1st part of our Spring vacation was spent in Pigeon Forge TN. It's about an 8 hour drive from where we live. We left early in the morning to get most of the drive out of the way before the kids woke up.
We hadn't planned on leaving for our trip until Saturday but it was so cold here and it was snowing, we just wanted to head south ASAP.
Friday when we got down there we check into the hotel and it was cold and raining , so we just spent the rest of friday in the heated indoor pool.
I wasn't going to complain to much about the rain seeing how it was 18 degrees outside and snowing when we left home and in the 50's down there :)
Here is a pic of Mr Man in the pool
And This is of the girls.

This last one is Little Man, He is such a water bug.

Menu Plan Monday(4/23/07)

Happy Monday everyone..
we are looking at another busy week in our house hold with church, awanas, school, drama club practise, baseball practise and softball practise and t-ball sign ups and fall soccer sign ups(yes they do this in spring.) so meals are fast and simple again this week.

Monday: we have drama club, softball and baseball so dinner is going to be Hot Dogs on the grill(the weather here is wonderful) and baked french fries. Total cost for this meal is $7.02 All our dinners will feed the 6 of us plus have leftover for DH's lunch the next day. So this breaks down to about $1.00 per person.

Tuesday: Spaghetti, Garlic bread and a Salad Total cost $8.07 cost per person about $1.15

Wednesday: Home made pizza rolls. Total cost $8.75 cost per person $1.25

Thursday: Hamburger on the grill, corn on the cob, and bake potatoes. Total cost $5.50 cost per person about $0.78

Friday: Smoke Sausage, rice and green beans. Total cost $6.75 cost per person about $0.96

Our desserts for the week are blueberry muffins(DH picked this) and Mr Man's fruit salad.. We have been letting him cut up his own fruit the last week or so and he came up with "his fruit salad" which is chopped Apple, Bananas, Grapes all mixed together in vanilla yogurt. So Mr Man will be making this for us.

The Home made Pizza rolls.
This recipe is my mother in laws(if you can call this a recipe LOL) she use to cook these every Tuesday, as far as I know she still does. We just do them now and again way to much dough to eat them every week..
1st you take thawed frozen bread dough, we use 2 loafs. Break it into 10 parts, roll those 10 parts out.. place pepperoni on them and load them up with mozzarella cheese. Roll them up put 2 or 3 slices at the top to vent, put them on a cookie sheet or pizza pan and cook them at 350 till bread is golden.

What are your 7 favorite songs.

dcrmom over at Musings of a Housewife has tagged her readers with this fun little meme.. about there favorite music.. Thought this went along great with the Sunday six questions for today.

I knew going into this that I would never be able to pick just 7 songs.. I don't really have a favorite song or 7 favorite songs.. I like alot of different music and what I like just depends and changes day to day.. So I am going to just pick the 7 songs that came to mind when I thought what songs would I like to listen to right now at this moment.

1)Sheryl Crow "I'm gonna soak up the sun"
2)Avril Lavigne "Girlfriend" I heard this song for the 1st time this past Thursday and I had to LOL at it. It is funny.
3)Avril Lavigne "My Happy Ending"
4)Avril Lavigne "complicated"
5)Carry Underwood "Before he cheats" This song cracks me up also.
6) Carry Underwood "Jesus take the wheel" this one doesn't make me LOL but it does always make me cry.
7)Carry Underwood " wasted"

Now if I was to go back and time and pick 7 songs I would like to hear right now the list would look like this.
1)Bangles "Manic Monday"
2)Bangles "Eternal Flame".. this one if mine and Barry's song. it was playing at 10:05 pm on April 8, 1989 when Barry asked me to be his girlfriend and wear his class ring. Since this was our song it was also the song we danced to at our wedding reception on Oct 29, 1994
3)Sticking with the Bangles theme, how could I forget "walk like and Egyptian"
4)Ok the next 4 songs I would pick to hear right now are all from Belinda Carlisle 1st one being "circles in the sand"
5) Heaven is a place on earth
6)I get weak
7)mad about you

also like stuff such as "what's left of me" Nick Lachey and alot of country songs pretty much anything from Martina McBride and Faith Hill and alot of praise and worship songs... Mark Harries "Find your wings" is one of my sappy mommy songs I like. Also Mine and Barry's 2nd song which is by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw " It's your Love" This song came out shortly after we bought our house 10 years ago.. It was playing on the radio while i was standing on a ladder in what was Princess room but has now become the boys room, painting the ceiling and in walks Barry singing this song, he sort of grabbed me off the Ladder and spun me around, hugged me and then started dancing with me as he song the song along with the radio.

So my love of music isn't deep. I just like fun song I can crank the radio up and sing along with..(oh how my kids wish I would stop doing this in public LOL) .

dcrmom also asked how do you pick your music.. Do you like the music or the words best.. I always go words.. but it has to have a nice beat also.. I pick my music by what I can sing along with. If I can't understand the words I can't sing so if I can't sing I don't really want to listen to it. Guess I should also add, that songs with bad, not so friendly kid words in them, are edited for the childrens and my ears.. before played. Miss Lavigne doesn't always have the most family friendly lyrics ;)

So there ya have it.. If you all would like to play along go post your 7 favorite songs and then let me know you did so I can go check it out.

WE are the Champions..

We are the champions.. or more like Princess academic challenge team are the champions..
I posted a few weeks ago how Princesses academic team took 1st place in the county wide tournament and was advancing on to the tri-county tournament(I guess there isn't anything higher to move on to from there for 5th graders)
This was the big tournament.. The school even had a pep rally of sorts on Wednesday to send the team off on Thursday for the tournament.

Well Yesterday was the big day.. and Princesses and her team bought home the 1st place trophy again.. they announced them as the champions of champions(seeing how they were playing the champions of the other counties)

They were so excited to win and I was so proud of all of them.. I had road the bus with them this time to the place and on the way back the 5th grade girls on the team started singing "we are the champions" and then "can't touch this" they were too funny.. they ended up combining the two and signing it "we are the champions, we are the champions, can't touch this, NO time for Losers, cuz we are the champions, cant touch this, Of the world...
They were all so excited..
I might get pictures up sometime of this.. if my computer would ever start working right again..

Update on Princess

Princess has been one sick girl all day long. In my last post I told ya she fell asleep on the couch at 10:30am and it was close to 1:30pm and she was still asleep. Well she woke up at 3pm stayed up for about 40 mins and fell back to sleep at 7pm she woke up crying. I took her temp and it was 103.8. I called the doctor right away because she never runs high fevers like that(Mr Man runs a high fever every time he is sick) They got her into the office at 8:40pm and even after the Tylenol her fever was 101.8 (Tylenol given shortly after 7pm)
They tested her for strep and sure enough.. she has strep throat.
Poor thing, but I'm almost glad it is strep and can be treated, if it was a virus there is no telling how long she would be sick.. As it is after 24 hours on the Amoxil she should be feeling better and can still make the big academic challenge tournament on Thursday..

Sick again.~sigh~

When you have 4 kids it seems there is always someone sick in the household, but we have gone a few weeks without anyone being sick.. UNTIL today, this morning Princess woke up saying her throat hurts, I didn't think much of it. I told her to drink something warm and she was off to get dressed for school. Then she came out and said her head hurt also, so we gave her some Tylenol and she went and got her shoes on and got her agenda for me to sign and she packed up her bag for school.. She then laid down on the couch I asked her what she wanted for breakfast she said she wasn't hungry I told her she had to eat something and she said, I just don't feel good.. I took a look at her and she looked sick so I felt her head and she was hot. I went and got the thermometer and sure enough she was 101.4
So she is home from school today.. with her migraines she was getting she was missing school when she had them so missing today puts her up to 14 absents for the year.. UGH..
The poor thing ~sigh~ she came out and laid on the couch to watch some TV around 10am and she fell asleep it is now pushing 1:30pm and she is still sound asleep on the couch..

I pray she is better before Thursday.. That is the big academic challenge thing that there team advanced too. She is already missing practise for it tonight and this was the last one before Thursday, she was hoping she would feel better and could go a 1/2 day of school so she wouldn't have to miss it but there is no way she is making it. If she is still sick Thursday and can't compete she is going to be so upset.

Always loved and Never forgotten.

It has been 3 years ago today that we found out we had lost Alyssa our sweet little baby who grew in me for 13 weeks.

For weeks now I had planned on writing a post about what happened that day how I felt, what people said and How God used this in my life to help me grow..
But today I just can't do it. I will Always remember and never forget, there is a spot in my heart that belongs only to our sweet little baby who we never got to hold, but today I just can't bring myself to type out this story. Shannon over at Rocks in my dryer did a wonderful Remembering post earlier this month in it she wrote "My home and heart are full of happy, noisy, funny memories enough to mull over for a lifetime. But with my treasured box of few tangible reminders (sympathy cards, hospital records, and even a faded pregnancy test) I remember--I will always remember--my few short weeks as that little baby's mother.
And I smile."

My home and heart are full of all of those joyful things also, and I too have my treasured box with the little blanket I bought for the baby when I 1st found out I was expecting, the faded pregnancy test, dried up roses(they were the roses Princess brought to me after I got home from the d&c) Bible verse and songs I wrote down that helped me get though the pain and move on with life, Things God laid on my heart during that time and the only photos I will ever have our my sweet little baby.. her 1st ultra sound photos. Most days I can think of her and smile. I thank God for the short time she was growing inside of me, I also thank Him for working his perfect will in taking her.. That is something very very very hard to do, BUT God is in control. He taught me so much and I grew in Him so much from this and He also gave me Little Man who wouldn't be here other wise. I Praise and Thank God for all 5 of my children the 4 I have here with me and the 1 I don't.

My sister sent me this song by Watermark called Glory Baby.. I wish I knew how to add the song into my blog for you all to listen too but I don't, So I'll leave you with the words.

Watermark - Glory Baby Lyrics
Glory baby you slipped away as fast as we could say baby…baby..
You were growing, what happened dear?
You disappeared on us baby…baby..
Heaven will hold you before we do
Heaven will keep you safe until we’re home with you…
Until we’re home with you…

Miss you everyday
Miss you in every way
But we know there’s a day when we will hold you
We will hold you
You’ll kiss our tears away
When we’re home to stay
Can’t wait for the day when we will see you
We will see you
But baby let sweet Jesus hold you‘till mom and dad can hold you…
You’ll just have heaven before we do
You’ll just have heaven before we do

Sweet little babies, it’s hard to understand it ‘cause we’re hurting
We are hurting
But there is healing
And we know we’re stronger people through the growing And in knowing-
That all things work together for our good
And God works His purposes just like He said He would…
Just like He said He would…

Miss you everyday
Miss you in every way
But we know there’s a day when we will hold you
We will hold you
You’ll kiss our tears away
When we’re home to stay
Can’t wait for the day when we will see you
We will see you
But baby let sweet Jesus hold you‘till mom and dad can hold you…
You’ll just have heaven before we do
You’ll just have heaven before we do

BRIDGE:
I can’t imagine heaven’s lullabies and what they must sound like
But I will rest in knowing, heaven is your home
And it’s all you’ll ever know…
all you’ll ever know…

Little Alyssa Reese you are always loved and never forgotten.

Menu Plan Monday(4/16/07)

grrrr.. I just posted a nice long post went to add the menu plan Monday banner to it only to have the computer freeze up on me and I lost the whole thing.. Guess this means I'm still having my computer trouble. ugh!!!!!!!!
ANYWAYS!!!!

We are back from vacation had a great time and I'll post about that later, onto what's for dinner.

Monday: Salisbury Steak, green beans and rice(a meal left from the week before our trip)
Tuesday: Spaghetti and garlic bread
Wednesday: Johnsonville Smoked Sausage filled with cheddar cheese and ore-ida Steak Fries
Thursday: bring out the crock pot and doing a Pot Roast, with gravy and potatoes and baby carrots
Friday:Marvelous Mini Meatloaves , mashed potatoes and corn(another meal that was on my last menu plan)

As you see I didn't get around too all the meals from my last menu plan. We planned a nice little spring vacation 6 days/5 nights and at the last minute changed our minds and left a day early making it a 7 day/6night trip.. THEN when it was time to come home we changed our minds again and thought we would stay one extra night and drive the long long drive right though the next day this turned the trip into a 8 day/7night trip.. ONLY after being in the van for 9 1/2 hours we changed our mind again and stopped and got a room turning our 6 day/5 night trip into a 9 day/8 night vacation.. but we had a BLAST.. more post about our vacation to come but right now I have mountains of laundry needing my attention.

menu plan monday(4/2/07)

MENU PLAN MONDAY

no cute banner/button today, I'm still unable to upload images into blogger.
I don't think this is a blogger problem anymore though because since I started having problems with the uploading of pictures I have not been able to upload from my computer into any of my other photo sites such as photobucket, clarkcolor, kodakgallery, or any where. I'm also having problems still with leaving comments if your comments are in a pop up page. Every time I go to leave a comment 9 times out of 10 I get a page can not be displayed error, if your comment page is on a normal page I can refresh the page and that normally brings it up, if it is on a pop up page I have noway of refreshing it and I can't leave a comment but have been reading your blogs still.

OK On to Menu Plan Monday

Monday: Hot Dogs on the grill, French fries and apple sauce(fast is the key for dinner tonight, both Mr Man and Princess has ball practice at 6pm So DH is taking the boy and I'm taking the girl, if I were to bet I would guess I'll have the younger two with me LOL)

Tuesday: Salisbury Steak, Mashed potato's, green beans and corn muffins

Wednesday: Potato chip breaded Fish, tater tots and baby carrots

Thursday: Marvelous Mini Meatloaves , mashed potatos and corn

Friday: Fried Chicken, Mac and cheese and apple sauce

Saturday: we leave for our spring break vacation So there will be no menu plan for next week, well unless you count eating out every meal a menu plan :)
