and as a side note for those of you who have been reading everyday this week.. I have to pull her out of school once again tomorrow(Wednesday) because at 8:30pm Tuesday(got the braces around 11am Tuesday) one of the brackets already fell off..

I feel for her. I never had braces but I watched my sister go through it. Painful!
Oh yes, that brings back memories... I hated the rubber bands that I had to wear on mine. Didn't mind the braces themselves so much though - it was 'in' to have them. :)

I had three kids with braces. I truly think they should have an orthodontist on the school grounds. My kids missed more school due to braces than anything else.

Oh the adventures of braces. "Brace" yourself! HA! I crack me up (at least someone is laughing, right?) Hope it's a smooth ride for her...
Must be really uncomfortable for Princess especially the adjustment. :(
Ouch! She'll be glad she did it someday, but for now it's not fun!
Motrin! My daughter had her braces on last month. She was sore for a few days but then was back to normal.
I hope she's not in too much pain. I remember being in pain for about 3 days every time I had mine tightened. One day she'll thank you though.

I had braces when I was 26 years old for 2 years. I remember all to well...how painful those things can be...especially on tightening days.
