Weekend Recap (May 17&18, 08)/ Wordless Wendesday(or not so wordless)

Good morning, afternoon, evening whatever the case may be when you choice to read my blog. I'm just now getting around to my Weekend Recap for the weekend of May 17, 2008. but since I took a ton of pictures this weekend I'm going to use this post as my Wordless Wednesday post also(or in this case my NOT SO Wordless Wednesday post) For those of you who want to read about my weekend enjoy, for those of you who just want to see pictures.. Well then skip the words and just enjoy the shots.
Well shall we get started then.
Took This picture Sunday at the park we were at.

This weekend was a tournament weekend for Princess's travel tournament fastpitch softball team. We left our house at 3:30am in order for Princess to get to the ball park in Kentucky by 8am. Her 1st game was at 9am and they won that game.
While Princess was playing the game. Little Man had fun getting dirty playing with his trucks while Sweet Pea and Mr Man played with some of the other younger sisters and brothers from the team.

between her 1st and 2nd game, the kids played at the play scape at the ball park and then after some playing time we went out and got lunch
After lunch we went back to the park for the 2nd game
They won the 2nd game also. Then DH took me and the younger kids to the hotel which had a water park called Coco keys. We checked in, unloaded and Then DH took back off to the ball park to watch Princess 3rd game.

After DH left the kids and I headed over to the water park that was about 3:30pm and that is where we stayed till about 9:30pm Saturday night.

After the 3rd and last game on Saturday, Princess and two of her friends from her team came back to the hotel with DH and meet us at the water park where they got to spend the from 6pm to 10pm.

After 6 hours of swimming and sliding the younger 3 were ready to head back to the room, so I took them back and we all got showered and waited for the old 3 girls and DH to come back. Little Man didn't make it he sat down in a chair and when I turned around he was out. Sweet Pea was having fun playing with the camera while we waited for the girls and while Mr Man took his shower. I'm glad I played with the camera because I had to give it back yesterday.. sniff sniff now I'm without a digital camera.. We had the one we had due to the ball team Princess played for this winter/spring while DH was in charge of there team website so it was the teams camera that we got to use from November till yesterday.. Now I think I need to go out and buy myself my 1st digital camera so I can keep up with pictures on my blog :)
After the girls and DH got back we ordered pizza, ate and called it a night.

The Next morning we did breakfast in the hotel breakfast room Then got dressed packed up the van and headed back to the ball park.

It was about lunch time when we got the girls to the field so we dropped the girls off to do warm ups before there game and we took the younger kids to the park for a picnic lunch and some play time.

We got back to the ball park and watched the 1st game and we won that which put us into the championship game. Between the 1st game and the Championship game The girls got a quick bit to eat. Then it was back to ball
Check out this picture.. I had to take it, I thought it was so funny that they were intentionally walking Princess.
The top two teams in the championship was our team The Doom 95 team(yes Princess was born in 96 but she was asked to play for the 95 team) and the other team was our organization team The Doom 96 team. It was a close game going into the last inning the score was 6 to 5 us.. but thankfully we had a good inning and ended up winning 12- 6 So we brought home another championship.

After the game we headed back home.. Here we are coming into Ohio

This was not a good place for the Tribe this weekend. :(

Took this picture as we were heading toward Columbus because I loved the way the clouds were hanging over the city.

That was the end of the pictures for the weekend. On our way home we stopped by my parents house and had dinner.. Then we came home, unpacked showered and went to bed..
So that is how we spent our weekend..

Looks like you guys had another great time. I loved the picture of playing in the sand. that is how our boys spent every game last year when Steve and I played on the church softball team.

I enjoyed both the update and the pictures...lol!

So where about in KY did you go? I love that view on I-75 looking in to Cincinnati. And I had to LOL when I saw your caption under the ball park...it was a rough series, wasn't it? My hubby is a CUBS fan but him and Caleb try to see a least one game a year at the Reds home.

OK I have rambled on enough... :o)

Congrats to the Princess for her wins!

Looks like a fun, sporty weekend for the family. We don't have to travel far for our sports events because Singapore is too small. :)

Nice to meet you and your family.

WOW. That was a very nice photo album. I see (and hear thru the music) a beautiful and loving family. I really liked how you had a full day and then showed pics of the little sleeping beauties. Everybody is so cozy. Gorgeous kids. *hugs* (Rhonda a/k/a chuck)

It's so great that your daughter loves sports. I watched the video of her hit. You must be very proud. She looks just like you, you must hear that a lot!

I loved looking at all the photos and seeing Ohio again. Thanks for the tour.

Thanks for the visit. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Your family does more ballgames, swimming and parks in one weekend than our family does in a year! Great that you all get to be together and have fun!

Hi Kc, it's good to visit your blog again and read the post. Congratulations to Princess and her team. They're really good! Looks like you all had fun! Nice pictures of places also. Do you ever have traffics there? Your roads look really nice. We have bad traffics here. Anyway, got you a tag. Hope you're up to it. :D

That looks like a crazy busy weekend! Such fun though.

I was noticing at Walmart how cheap you can get a semi-decent digital camera for yesterday. I really want a new one.
