Little Man's 3 year check up.

Yesterday was Little Man's birthday he turned 3 years old.. He was a sleepy little thing that morning. I got everyone up and ready for school and he was still asleep. It was time to go so I wrapped him in a blanket and carried a sleeping boy to the van and buckled him in, He stayed asleep the whole time we were dropping off kids and the whole way back, he even stayed asleep when I got him out of the van carried him back to the house and put him back in bed. 10 AM rolled around and he was still sleeping.. But I had to wake him up because at 10:20 AM he had a doctors appointment.. His 3 year check up right on his 3rd birthday. I dressed him as he laid in bed.. He woke up while I was trying to get a shirt on him.. So we brushed his teeth, combed his hair and was out the door by 10:10 AM and on our way to the doctors..

He loves the fish in the waiting room, though he didn't like the fact that he had to wait. He kept saying, as he tried to open the door to get back to the exam rooms. "come on mom, I see doctor" or "I see doctor now" Thankfully it wasn't a long wait and then they called his name. They weighed him and measured him and then we were back in our roomThey asked him if he could pee in a cup and he thought that was the funniest thing ever.. I mean come on now, who pees in a cup after all.. He was all over that "me pee in cup" then he would LOL.. ONLY when we got into the bathroom to do so, he couldn't go.. In my rush to get out the door this morning.. I didn't take him to the potty I just threw a pull up on him and away we went. but by the time we were in the bathroom to pee in the cup.. His diaper was already wet, and the poor boy had nothing left to add to the cup. That didn't stop him from trying.. Now talk about funny.. he was grunting and groaning and trying his hardest to make some pee pee come out because he wanted so badly to pee into that little cup.. Only there just wasn't anything there. Poor kid.

When we got back to the room it was exam time.All is well and he has grown like a week Had a big jump in height and his weight is right on track also.. AT 3 years old my Little Man is 29 lbs 4 oz and 37 1/2 inches tall. Putting him in the 25% for weight and 52% for height. You can see where he was at his 2 year check up HERE.
