While going though my camera I found a ton of short video clips I don't think I have posted over here yet.. So today for my Thursday 13.. I give you video clips from Nov. 15, 09 till Feb 20,10

4) On New Years Eve while the younger kids were in TX at my sisters Princess had a NYE Party..





5)In January Little Man had his mother goose day at school.. He did Little Jack Hornor..




6)January 18, 2010 Princess had her 14th birthday but I lost the video of her blowing out the candles think it got deleted off the camera before making it to the computer :-(

7)January 29, 2010 Sweet Pea turned 8

9)Feb 13 & 14, 2010 was Princess 1st J.O.Volleyball tournament of the year.. here is a short video clip of one of her serves on the 14th.. We took 3rd place in this tournament.

Thursday 13 (random happinging in my life)

Thought I would toss together a T-13 post for the day. Just with a ton of random things that I haven't had time to blog about

1) Last night I had to go to a parents meeting FOR UPCOMING FRESHMAN!!!!!! when did Princess get so old... and how did she get so old while I stayed young LOL :-)

2) Earlier in the week I thought I was going to have two sick kids.. both Little Man and Sweet Pea seemed off, acting like they didn't feel well and said there tummies hurt but nothing came of it.. BUT today I have TWO sick kids home from school with upset tummies and vomiting... ONLY it isn't the two I thought was getting sick It's Princess and Mr Man..

3) My Grandpa says he is doing well after having this last stent put in, but he isn't back 100% he does what he needs to do though the day but he keeps getting really tired and still having some pain..

4) When the income tax money gets here I want to put a new roof on the back porch.. well I don't really want to I have to it is leaking.. :-(

What I want to do is put new carpet in the living room and new flooring in the kitchen and dinning room.

5) This weekend is a slow weekend for us, only thing going on besides the normal Sunday church stuff is that Princess and Sweet Pea has pictures on Saturday for there traveling softball teams.

6) Two weekends ago the boys stayed with my parents while the girls and DH and I went to Toledo for Princess's 1st travel(or they call it J.O.) volleyball tournament of the year, it was a two day tournament so we stayed the night there.. 12 teams playing.. Princess team took 3rd place(gold..if you know anything about these tournaments that will be something to you, if not they took 3rd place over all the teams) losing only to the 2nd and 1st place team.. Also if you know anything about J.O. volleyball Princess made a American team(use to be call the national team, which are harder teams to get on, only the best players make them on those teams, they travel more and they play harder competition)

7)Last weekend Princess's J.O. volleyball had a tournament in Parma which was an All American tournament(meaning only American teams) and we played our bottoms off(or they did) and we took 1st place in that.

8) Next tournament is another American tournament with 14 teams. that is next weekend.

9)Little Man is having some issues with the ABC's.. with his speech delay and all he is having a hard time with the sounds of the letters.. and his preschool teacher and his speech teachers both think it would do him good to do one more year of preschool before going to kindergarten.. Only problem is he is so ready in all other areas for kindergarten.. but since reading is such a big thing in K.. I'm sort of leaning towards another year of preschool.. but Have not made up my mind. We are working really hard at the moment on the letters and there sounds here at home.. while still working hard on his speech and occupational therapy stuff also.

10) Mr Man is going up.. 4th grade, 10 years old.. and has started liking girls. ~sigh~

11) DH's work seems to be going well, even getting a little over time. Last year this time he was laid off and they were talking of closing the plant..

12) Sweet Pea makes me nuts.. she has issues with things touching her skin.. I don't have a clue what is up with that.. but she wants all her cloths big and baggy other wise she complains they are too tight.. in reality she fits into a size 7 perfectly.. but she won't wear a 7 she wants the 8's so they "aren't tight" and socks and shoes... oh don't get me started.. she hates socks they are all to tights.. she will only wear them inside out so the stitching on the toes don't touch her and they have to be thin and smooth or she will cry for hours.. I went and got her winter crocks and she loves them to wear but on days she has to wear any other shoes(for gym or whatnot) she gives me fits and pretty much loses the laces so much they aren't doing any good. I gave up on dress shoes isn't worth the fight.. she just wears her crocks with dresses and skirts.. that is if it isn't' too cold other wise I just let her wear pants to church since there is no way I can get her into tights or nylons ~sigh~ she looks like no one knows how to dress this poor child.. but I'm done with battling over this with her.. she wins. I hope and pray this is just a phase.. and nothing more.. but I had a nurse mentions maybe she has sensory issues I know nothing about such things.. maybe I should look into it.

13) starting next week, I'll be doing a new Bible study with a group of ladies here in town.. I'm looking forward to it.. but the time of it isn't working that great.. it goes from 6 to 8.. but I can only stay till 7pm I don't know how well that is going to work.. but I'm going to give it a shot and see how it works.. I hope it's doable..

I'm really not being very good at keeping up with my blog posting and reading though out the week and for that I'm sorry.. but it's summer and I'm busy and life comes first.. Right, I mean if I wasn't out living life what would I have to post about anyways LOL..

This weekend Friday started off slow... Princess had spent the night with a friend Thursday night so she was gone all Friday morning, DH had worked Thursday night so he was in bed sleeping Friday morning... So that left me and the 3 younger kids.. They played outside a bit and got board.. Mr Man came in the house and I heard the water running in the kitchen so I just yelled to him, "what are you doing" he responded "I have nothing to do so I'm washing the dishes" WOW ok my 9 year old son is doing my dishes and I didn't even ask him too.. I didn't want to mess with his program so I stayed out of the kitchen.. I saw when he dried them all and placed them all on the dinning room table because he didn't know where they went and once he was done I put them away.. He made me so happy.. While he was doing that Sweet Pea and Little Man came in the house.. and I hear Sweet Pea whining "awwwwwwwww that's no fair why does he get to do the dishes and we don't get to do anything" Well Ok you want something to do.. I got some cleaning stuff out and put Sweet Pea and Mr Man in the bathroom where I set them up to scrub the toilet and the bathtub.. LOL I tell ya they thought it was better then an amusement park the way they were acting all excited about cleaning the bathroom LOL..

One drawl back I found later in the evening was that on Thursday I had a brand new never open, never used bottle of dish soap, which should have lasted me forever since we have a dishwasher, but Mr Man washed the dishes by hand and I wasn't thinking to share with him how to use the dish soap correctly, he has ever only see me use it if I needed something quickly that was dirty so I would just put a tad on that plate or whatever and wash it that way.. So that is what he did with every thing.. and this is what my brand new bottle of dish soap looked like when he was done.

Friday late afternoon, Princess was home and DH woke up.. DH took princess out to the softball field and warmed her up with pitching and such.. She was going to play in her 1st softball game Friday night since breaking her toe and she hadn't touched a ball or glove or bat in that whole time.. When they got back DH took Mr Man over to the baseball field and worked with him also.. When they came home we had an early dinner and by 5:30pm we were all off running for ball.. DH took Princess to the 1st game of her weekend tournament(she was playing as a pick up player since the stingrays team coaches got in a fight while Princess was hurt and the whole team split up.. but Princess likes the girls and coaches on this team and they like her so we think she will play out the rest the season with them, think that is like only 4 more tournaments, they are not a power house nationally ranked team like she has been playing on but since she missed half the season because of her toe and now her team split up she is happy just to be playing this summer, though I don't think they will be bring home trophy after trophy like her team did last summer.) While DH and Princess was at her game.. I dropped Sweet Pea and Little Man off at my grandma's because they didn't want to spend 2 1/2 hours at the baseball field, and that is where I was heading to watch Mr Man's game.. Neither Princess or Mr Man won there games but they had fun.. Mr Man's game ended in a tie and was called because of the time limit which was ok with me because it was already pushing 9pm and we got there at 5:30pm I forgot to take the camera with me to his game but I had my cell phone so here are the pics I took with it of Mr. Mans game.

After the game Mr Man went and spent the night with my grandpa and Sweet pea and Little Man came home with me, when we got home DH and Princess was already home.. I got the kids cleaned up and to bed.

Saturday

Mr Man went fishing with my dad and Grandpa bright and early out on dads boat. The rest of us left the house at 11AM went to my parents house dropped off Sweet Pea and Little Man because they wanted to swim and play with friends over watching there big sister play ball.. Then we were off to the ball park Princess had two games one at 2pm and one at 5pm. My in laws came to the games in between the games we did a picnic lunch and had a good time.. though the 1st game it was extremely hot and I got a sun burn but during the 2nd game the temps dropped and we sat in the rain watching the game and it was so cold. Sunday

I woke up and the room wouldn't stop spinning I got dress and tried to keep going at it.. but I was so dizzy that I ended up throwing up at that point I knew I wasn't going any where that morning so I climbed back into bed.. I called my mom and she took the kids back home with her after church and kept them over night again..

Princess had one more game which they lost, DH took her to that.. Here are the pictures..

After she got home she got dressed and played on the computer a bit.. He and her left for youth group that evening.. I just stayed in bed the whole day.. I did wake up to try to eat something for lunch but didn't feel like eating after a bit or two.. and then I tried a little something for dinner.. I think I slept till 11:30AM then was back to sleep by 12:30pm slept till 4:30pm was back to sleep by 6pm At that time I went and sat out in the yard with DH for an hour and then I went back to bed at 10pm and slept till 9AM this morning.. Don't know what it was that I had but I didn't feel well at all, Thankfully I woke up this morning and felt fine.

So that was my weekend.. How was yours.. hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.

As a parting gift.. I thought i would show you this cute little 4 week old pug puppy.. My In laws just bought her.. can't bring her home for a few more weeks.. but this is there new dog..

Another update.

Hi guys,
I have just been way to busy to blog, for that I'm sorry.
I thought I would give you all a quick update and maybe get some pictures and such added later in the week.

We had a good weekend but I didn't find the time to do a weekend recap.
Friday I was sick again, I woke up got the kids to school and I went back to bed. It was 9:30am when I fell back to sleep and I didn't wake up till 1:30pm.. I know Right?!?!?!
Guess I really must have needed that sleep.. because by Saturday I felt good and I haven't felt sick since(well unless you count something I ate Sunday but that doesn't really count)

Saturday was a fun day I took Mr Man and Sweet Pea to the $1 theater, and my new glasses came in.. I'm so excited about them.. DH thinks they make me look like I'm trying to be young but according to Princess they make me look old. SNORT!!!!!!!!!!!.. I hardly wear glasses anyways I like me my contacts.. but I now have some fun glasses for days I feel like a change.. No pictures of them yet, I'll work on it though.

Sunday was Princess's 1st of 6 volleyball tournaments. They did really well took 1st in the lower bracket.. but since they ended up in the lower bracket they only ended up taking 5th place over all for both brackets. But still a great tournament. ONLY it made for a very long day we left the house at 6:something AM and didn't get home till 9:30PM (one of the reasons for no weekend recap this week)

Monday I did laundry and rested.. didn't feel really sick but was so worn out from Sunday I didn't feel much like getting online.

That brings us to Today Tuesday.
I spent from 9am till 2pm at Princess's Academic Challenge tournament.. It was the County wide tournament with all the schools in the county.. This is Princess' 3rd year in Academic Challenge.. in 5th grade they won the county in 6th grade the won the county and Today they made a THREE PETE.... and WON the County AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Pictures to come of that and the volleyball tournament when I have time to get them ready for viewing) I got home at 2:something PM but had to go pick Princess up from school by 2:30pm we got home with enough time for me to turn back around and go pick up Mr Man and Sweet Pea from school. We got home at 3:30Pm and I cooked a fast and healthy(SNORT) dinner of hot dogs and we were out the door by 4pm Princess and DH off to her softball pract. and Me to drop off Little Man and Sweet Pea at my grandma's while I took Mr Man off to his 1st indoor soccer of the year..
The Soccer went well, his team won 5-3 Next game is next Tuesday.
After Soccer I dropped Mr Man off with the younger 2 at grandma and went to a homeowners meeting that was going on to give people information about all the difference help that is out there during the economic times we are in.. figured it might be useful now that DH is laid off.. I got some really good information and meet some people who can help me if we find we need it in the future... and SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh don't tell my kids because I think one of them is going to get it as a gift.. But they had a drawling for an Ipod and I WON!!!!!!!!!!

LOL yes alot of winning going on today... They also gave us a $10 walmart card for going tonight.. So I walked away an hour later with alot of info a $10 giftcard and an IPod.. not bad for an hour of my time :-)
I got back to pick up my kids at 7:something PM and home a bit after 7:30pm here we are now pushing 11pm and I'm heading to bed because I"m sooooooooooooooooooooooooo tired again..

So hopefully I'll get back into this blogging thing sometime in the near future.. but tomorrow looks like another busy day for me with Little Man's speech and story time and My house.. OH ME my house.. I can't find a clean spot in it right now..(comes from DH being home now and leaving him home with Little Man all day today.. YIKES.. must get this man house broke while he is off work)

OOPS!!!!!!!!!!!
almost forgot my parents made it back from TX on Saturday early evening and by late Saturday evening my 3 younger ones were there spending the night LOL.
ALSO when I got home tonight I got a phone call from the doctors letting me know that the blood work that Princess had last Wednesday came back and she DOES NOT have Mono.. Thank goodness... Sweet Pea seems to be doing much better with her Mono.. she still get tired but the last two day has made it though a whole day of school.
OK think I covered everything now.. night..

Weekend Recap January 30- February 1, 2009

I'm going to start this recap with a little background information.. This weekend was going to be a crazy busy weekend. Friday night Sweet Pea's birthday party with her friends was all set up and ready to go.. The girls were showing up in there PJ's at 6:30PM and the party was a slumber party so they would be at our place till 10AM. There was also Princess youth group outing that night we had to fit in there. After the girls left the part Saturday morning I was going to do a rush cleaning around the house and start cooking. Then head out to Mr Man's basketball game and get home from that about 2:30pm when I would finish cooking and start setting everything out.. Party number 2 was to start at 3PM Saturday.. The party where all the family came over to eat and celebrate both Princess and Sweet Pea's birthday. Then Sunday was another busy day also.. Sunday School, AM Church, after church Princess's youth group had a "super Bowling" where they were going bowling and not having youth group that night. Then after that She had 2 hours of Volleyball practice and then it was time for PM Church and Awanas and then back home for some football... That was going to be my weekend.
ONLY on Wednesday Sweet Pea woke up with a high fever.. This game me two sick kids because Little Man had never got well from last weekend. Thankfully it had snowed a ton and there was no school for the kids. I was thinking good she can stay home and get better..
Thursday came and she was worse. Thursday was her real birthday the day she turned 7 years old and she spent pretty much the whole day sleeping or laying on the couch. She didn't get to go to school she didn't get to take her birthday treats to her class and she was so sad about that.

We did manage to get her awake enough to do gifts and cake with her in the evening but then she was right back to sleep.


This brings us to the WEEKEND..

Friday January 30, 2009
Friday morning around 6 something AM Sweet Pea woke up burning up with fever.. I got her some Tylenol and placed a call into the doctor office leaving a message on there phone that I needed two appointments.. One for Sweet Pea and one for Little Man(who was on day 6 of his fever). Then the heart breaking stuff happened which left Sweet Pea in tears crying... I had to call all the mothers of all the girls who RSVPed to her birthday party and tell them I was going to have to cancel the party(we are shooting to do it this next Friday if she is well) OH my goodness did this leave my poor sick baby so sad.. After getting the well kids off to school, I got a phone call from the doctors saying they had an appointment where they can see them both but it was in 20 minutes, could I make it.. I said yes.. even though none of us were dressed. I looked at my sick kids still mostly asleep on the couch in there PJ's hair all over the place and thought.. I don't have time to get them dressed in 10 minutes seeing how it is about a 10 minute trip to the doctors. So I got myself dressed, then just washed there faces, brushed there teeth, and put a comb though there hair and after adding shoes I took my two sick babies to the doctors in there PJ's.

At the doctors they both had ear test(where they shot the sound waves in thing) they both have fluid in there ears but said neither was infected. Then they both were tested for strep since there throats are red, but once again.. both came back neg. They were both tested for the flu which I really thought it was given the fever, pukes and the messy stuff at the other end. ONLY they both came back negative for the flu.
While at the doctors Sweet Pea was running a 102 fever and Little Man only a 99.9 They told me that this was some sort of virus but to my surprise they told me they thought Little Man was worse then Sweet Pea. That they weren't going to do anything more for Sweet Pea except let it run it's course, BUT Little Man sounded like he had fluid in his lungs So they wanted to test him for RSV. once again the test came back Negative. So at that point they sent me over to the hospital with him for some blood work and a chest x-ray.
After waiting hours I got the results back.. Little Man has bronchitis.
The rest of my weekend and the two younger kids who are sick was spent inside our house never leaving trying to get them well again.



As for the rest of the family...
Friday night Mr Man spent the night with my grandparents and Princess went with her youth group to the Winter Jam 09 concert and had a blast.. she didn't get home till close to 1AM and the she wanted to talk all about it until close to 2AM when I told her I loved her but couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. LOL.

I was going to put a slide show of the pictures she took that night here but when I do it messes up the format of my blog.. so look for the slide show for my Wordless Wednesday post. this week.

Saturday DH took Mr Man to his basketball game and I sent the camera with him.




Also on Saturday my brother came over and took Princess to Verizon to get all the information off her old phone and placed onto her new blackberry curve which she spent her birthday money on.. OH it is a sweet phone.. which I could afford one LOL... but she passed along her LG hot pink Venus to me.

Sunday DH took Mr Man to church and after church DH drove Princess to the youth group bowling, While Mr Man went home with my grandparents. While DH waited around for the bowling to be over.. He took my old phone and new phone to Verizon and had all my information changed around.
Then Sunday night we at too much non healthy food and watch the super bowl. OH I also read 1/2 a book and did 8 loads of laundry..
so there you have my weekend. To update you a bit more on the sick kids Little Man seems to be a bit better but Sweet Pea is still running a 101.7 temp. I take them both into to see the doctor again this (Monday) afternoon at 1:30PM. ONLY now Sweet Pea is crying her eyes out that her ear is hurting her.. ~sigh~ This is day 6 with the fever for her.
