Psalms 188: 1-24
1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.
5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
12 They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Yesterday was day 13 of Potty Training Little Man. I mean I have been working at it(if you want to call it that) for a year. I haven't been pushing I would just sometime ask him if he wanted to go pee pee in the potty, most of the time his answer would be no and I wouldn't push.. I have manage to teach 3 older ones before him But I had all 3 of them trained well before 3 years old. Princess was 2 years 4 months when she was both poo and pee, day and night trained. Mr Man was 2 1/2 years old pee, 2 years 11 months poo. And Sweet Pea was 2 years 4 months pee trained and 2 1/2 years old poo trained. So having Little Man turn 3 years old on the 14 of this month and not potty trained worried me a bit. BUT his doctor and his speech therapist both told me that due to his speech delay I should except a potty training delay also.
I continue to ask him if he had to go sometimes he would say yes and go pee other times he would just pee in his diaper(pull ups) he wouldn't even try to go #2 on the potty (only did it one or two time ever and that was from the time he was 1 years old on)no matter what I offered him. I'm not one to force a kid to sit for hours and hours on the toilet trying to make them go and I'm also not one to look at the clock ever 10 to 15 minutes and pick the kid up to use the bathroom.. I figured when they were ready to go they would come and tell me, or at least that is how my older 3 were and they all trained easily. But I was starting to worry about Little Man. He turned 3 on May 14, 2008 after all and now he was 3 and still in pull ups.. YIKES.. Then it happened.. It really Happened..
On Friday May 16, 2008 we were in the hotel room(you can read about that trip Here) changing to go to the water park so he was running around bare bottomed and next thing you know I could smell that he might have to go to the bathroom, So I asked him if he had to go, he said NO but then continued on pass me to go hide between the bed and the wall.. I knew if I didn't grab him he was going to make poo on the floor.. So I picked him up placed him on the potty and he told me to "get out mom" so I did and closed the door behind me when I went to check on him, he was done, he did it... I went in the potty..
ONLY this time he thought it was cool and has continued to pee and poo in the potty ever since.. Today is day 13.. So I give you a different sort of list today.. the list of days Little Man has been potty trained with only two pee accidents and on poo accident.
Day 1 May 16, 2008
Day2 May 17, 2008
Day3 May 18, 2008
Day4 May 19, 2008
Day5 May 20, 2008
Day6 May 21, 2008
day 7 May 22, 2008
Day8 May 23, 2008
Day9 May 24, 2008
Day10 May 25, 2008(one pee accident)
Day11 May 26, 2008(one poo accident)
Day12 May 27, 2008(one pee accident)
Day13 May 28, 2008
I think the accidents on the 25, and 26 came from traveling in the van for hour and hours on there mini vacation with grandma. The 27 accident came because he was too busy watching the "bob the builder" road workers outside our window "eat up our road" as they were tearing up the road doing the pipe work and making us a new road out side our house. He started to pee in his underpants and Yelled "oh no, me pee pants" and then he ran to the bathroom and finished on the potty. So over all, I say we are doing well on this Potty Training Thing.
Happy Thursday everyone.

Friday Night Princess had a softball game for her league team, that got over at 8:30pm then my parents took Mr Man, Sweet Pea and Little Man home with them and Princess's friend/team mate from the league team came home with us.
At 4:30AM DH, Princess and MT(the friend) and I woke up packed the van and left to spend the weekend in our state capital for Princess's tournament team softball tournament. She had a 8AM game a 10AM game and a 5PM game on Saturday In between the 10AM and 5PM game we went and watched a 10U game who some of our friends from Toledo's daughter was playing at the same park then we went out to lunch and checked into the hotel. After that Princess ran into a few friends she had played with last year when she was picked up with a Columbus team for a weekend and she hung out with them and then we watched the 1/2 part of there game before she had to be back for warm ups for there 5pm game. After the game we went to down town Columbus because MT had never been to there and we took her around OUS, Then we got a late dinner at the Texas Road house and then took a hike by the river. We got back to our hotel about 10PM showered and went to bed.
Mean time while we were doing that, My parents and younger children packed up there van and went to MI. drove and drove and drove till they got to Mackinac Island spent some time there doing I don't know what because I I wasn't there. Then got a hotel room and stayed the night.. Sunday they woke up and drove to the Sand duns and stayed all day there doing I'm not sure..While they were playing in the sand, I was getting sunburn at the ball field..
We woke up left the hotel at 8:30am got breakfast at Tim Horton's and then went to the fields Where they had a 10AM game which they won so they advanced and had to play at 12:30AM which they lost. That was the end for them Princess 12U tournament team ended up taking 5th place out of 16 teams but they were playing up in the 14U tournament this weekend not in the 12U.. So that wasn't bad at all. In the 10U division.. the Championship game was going to start 30 minutes after Princess game had ended. The two teams playing for the championship was the team our friends daughter plays for, VS the team Aubrie played with last year for a few weekends and she has all the friends on.. So she wanted to watch it.. So we did.. Our friend DD team won and took there championship.
Here is a picture of Princess and her 10U friend.
Then we left and went shopping, had to hit a Mall, princess was in need of some tennis shoes.. ONLY the girl is a brand snob and ONLY wants Pumas and I'm not willing to spend $90 on them and the ones they had on sale at a ton of different stores she didn't like She gave a little and I gave a little and we found a pair she could live with and I could pay a bit more They were $59(I didn't want to go more then $50)So we got her foot measured and tried them on.. 71/2 fit one foot great but was way to tight for the other..(one foot is a whole size bigger then the other UGH) So they needed to get her and 8 ONLY!! wouldn't you know it they didn't have them in a size 8....So after 2 hours at the mall we left with no shoes
After the Mall we went into the town where my parents and IL's live because Mr Man had left his homework at my parents and they weren't planning on going back there before dropping him off. After I got his homework, we went and picked up subs at a local place and went and had dinner over at my MIL's house. Visited a bit then left for home
WE dropped MT off about 9pm and Princess had plans to stay at Grandma's(my grandma's her great grandma) so we dropped her off next. Then DH and I had the house to ourselves.. and like all old people we passed out on the couch SNORT!!!!!
Around 10pm I got a call from my mom who I thought would be in a hotel room because that was the plan anyways.. they changed there mind and thought they would drive the 8 or 9 hours home at night while the kids slept in the van.
Monday morning DH and I did yard work and got 1/2 of the yard weeded and flowers planted and bushes trimmed we still need to do the front yard, but it's not like anyone is seeing that area right now with our front road all closed and being worked on, they have it such a mess out there right now but I think it will look nice when it is done.
Then we went and got the new tires for DH car(did I mention his tire blew up Thursday on his way home from work??) Went grocery shopping, went to the lake and walked the beach and then came home about 7pm
Mom and Dad bought the kids home about 7:30pm and we took a walk about 8pm Then I came home got the kids ready for bed and cooked a late dinner for DH and myself.. (took this picture on our walk)
Hope you all had a great weekend.

This past Tuesday night was such a crazy night..
When I looked at the white board calender here is what it said.
4pm to 6pm Princess softball scrimmage
5pm Sweet Pea's t-ball practices
5:30pm Mr Man's season opener baseball game
7pm Mr Man's and Sweet Pea's art show at the school
7pm Princess's spring concert at her school.
How is that for a full night of activities.
Princess couldn't do the softball and the concert there was just no way for her to be dress and at the school by the time she needed to be and play ball so that was out.. but the rest of the stuff we could handle I'm sure.
So by 4:30pm everyone was dress and had ate dinner and by 4:40pm DH was out the door with Mr Man because he had to be at the park by 5pm and I was out the door with Sweet Pea so she could be at t-ball on the other side of town by 5pm. Little Man was still with my mom and Princess had went to my Grandpa's house so he could drop her off at the school on time.
Over at Mr Man's ball game, I missed opening ceremonies.. but I guess Mr Man was on of the boys who got to raise the flag for the national anthem to be song and his name was announced on the big loud speaker so all 5 fields could hear it. He thought that was very cool.. I got there just as they were starting the game.. It was a good game.. Mr Man had 4 hits.. got a single every time he was up to bat. He played 3rd base and was catcher the last inning.
Back over at Sweet Pea's t-ball fields.. we get there, we unload the van of her ball stuff, we walk to the field, I'm getting her glove out of her bag, when I hear. "Mommy I have to poop"(sorry TMI) I ask the questions all moms ask when your not close to a bathroom "can you hold it, can you wait till t-ball?" "no mommy I need to go now, I need to go bad" So we drop our stuff and I rush her off to the bathroom there at the ball park.. ONLY to find they are locked, they only unlock them on game days...
So we rush back over to our stuff pick it up load the van back up and off we head towards home.. Normally this isn't a long trip but with our road being closed It takes me just over 5 minutes to get back home.. This is 5:10pm, I was pulling Sweet Pea out of t-ball by 5:30pm so I could watch Mr Man's game.. Sweet Pea takes forever in the bathroom and it's 5:20 or a bit after when she come out.. So I skipped out of t-ball there was just no point in heading back over there.. So off we went to Mr Man's game.
6:45 rolled around and the game was still going on, but I had to run.. At this point my parents and Little Man was at the game also and so I took off with them to Princess's school concert, leaving Sweet Pea and Mr Man in there daddies care at the game.
Princess concert was nice.. I took a 3 minute video of them singing but it won't load to blogger, Photobucket said it was too large, and after 3 hours of youtube telling me it was loading and yet nothing happening I gave up and deleted it off my mom's camera memory card. but here are a few pictures.
While I was at the concert and after the baseball game, DH took Sweet pea and Mr Man to there art show at school. Before I left the game, I gave DH my cell phone and told him to use it to get a few pictures of the kids at the art show.. but when I got home and looked at the cell phone he didn't take any.. He said he didn't hear me say to take picture, he thought I said, "here take my cell phone" UGH.. men!!!! LOL.. so there are no pictures of this years art show.
but there ya have it Baseball, Concerts and Art Shows Oh my!!!
You all have a wonderful weekend.. I'm gone again this weekend and using that new post in the future thing where I can pick a day and time for this to post without me being there.. Lets hope it works :)
I'll be back Monday, if not I'll chat with ya all on Tuesday.. Have a great weekend.

Know and Tell Friday can now be found HERE if you would like to play along.
This weeks Questions:
1. What one item in the kitchen best describes you and your personality?
2. What’s your favorite concert you’ve ever attended?
3. If Jesus was standing in front of you, in the flesh, what one question would you ask him?
4. What super-power would you most like to have, and why?
5. If you had $5 million to spend in 5 days, but couldn't spend any of it on yourself or your family, what would you do with it?
6. What is your favorite kind of ice cream?
7. Do you hit snooze when the alarm goes off, or do you get up right away?
My Answers:
1) I don't know if there is anything in my kitchen that describes me or my personality Hummm maybe the cereal box, a little flaky, or the blender, a little mixed up LOL.. I don't know.
2) Michael W Smith at the state fair back in 1992 went with DH(who was not my dear husband at the time) My best friend, my sister and another one of our friends we worked with at Camp Patmos. It was a great time.. I also really enjoyed seeing Steven Curtis Chapman at a Billy Gram crusade.. went with my family but went out on the ground next to the stage with my sister to enjoy the show. Also saw Chicago in concert and that was a blast too.
3) To be honest, I don't think I have any questions that I would be wanting to ask if Jesus was in front of me.. I think I would be too in love with him to speak.. maybe throw my arms around Him and tell him how much I love Him.. or just fall to my knees in praise.. I just don't know, but I can't think of anything I would ask.
4) Just answered this one at Jennifer's blog the other day. the power to be invisible and to read minds. I think that would come in very useful when your a mom.
5) Give some to our church, Give some to missions, Give some to the schools in our town. too much thinking needs to go into this one and I don't have the time to ponder it all that long.. so I'll leave it at this.
6) mint chocolate chip.. Though I do love dark chocolate ice cream, and McDonald's ice cream. and OH blue bell(I think that is the name) that I can only get in TN or TX and not here in OH, Love there banana split ice cream. yum Now I want to eat some ice cream.
7)I like to snooze.. but since I'm looking for more sleep and not having to wake up to hit the button.. I now set the alarm for the last minute when I HAVE to be out of bed.. This way I get more uninterrupted sleep.. and not the wake up hit the button sleep 5 more minutes wake up again and then hit the button again..
There ya have it folks my answers to this weeks question..
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend..
