Menu Plan Monday

This week we are eating a bit differently. Friday I didn't get time to go to the store and then Saturday after our family outing we had planned to go grocery shopping together but that didn't work out because Mr Man got sick so we just brought him home and skipped the groceries. Then DH had to work on Sunday and with Mr Man sick I didn't get to go to the store after church liked I thought I would when we didn't go on Saturday.. Anyways, DH stopped by the store on his way home from work without a list and with no idea of what I had in mind for meals for the week.. So he picked out stuff he thought would be good for the week. Bad thing is most all of it was some sort of frozen per made meal of sort but the Good news is he shopped the sales(smart man) so it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
So here is what are dinners are for the week, along with the cost per meal and the break down of what it cost per person for 7 people.. (7 because there is the 6 of us eating for dinner and then DH taking the leftovers to work the next morning for his lunch)

Monday: the Steak and potatoes on the grill which I didn't do mostly because i wanted to do them on the grill and it was cold well today I hear it is going to be in the mid to high 50's so happy grilling to me. here is the totals i had for this for last week but this week i didn't spend a dime on this meal. The cost for the meal $7.82 The cost per person about $1.12

Tuesday: is school fundraiser night for Princess school, whatever you order from this local pizza joint between the hours of 6pm and 9pm part of your total cost goes to the school.. So Tuesday is pizza night this week.

Wednesday: Gortons fish fillets breaded in potato Breading with ore-Ida crisper fries and corn. Cost per meal is $7.83 Cost per person is about $1.12

Thursday: Stouffers yankee Pot Roast and corn muffins. Cost per meal $10.64. Cost per person is about $1.52

Friday: Oncor Mostaoccioli pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce and some garlic bread, Cost for meal is $7.50 The Cost per person is about $1.07

Saturday & Sunday who know what planning weekends are pointless because they always change. However I do have one other meal in the house and that is smoked sausage with french fries and green beans. Total cost for this meal was $5.83. Per Person is about $0.83

Our dessert for the week will be banana nut muffins

My weekends can be pointless in planning too because the plans always seem to change at the last minute!
That's good that hubby picked stuff up for you though!
Thanks for stopping by.

Two of my kids eat anything, my son is vegetarian from birth and Izzy has a special diet of blended, pureed foods and shakes that are made with lots of vitamins and soy milk...sound good? So, I make what I make and the four of us eat it and the others get their own variations. Your menu looks good!
Have a great week.
