Tri County Champions.. Once again.

Back in March the 5th grade and 6th grade Academic Challenge teams from Princess's school went to our country Academic Challenge tournament and brought home the 1st place trophy. Princess is a 6th grader this year and last year as a 5th grader they did the same thing.. Last year they advanced as far as they could(the tri county championship) and walked away the Champions for 2007... Well Today was the 2008 Tri County Championship for grades 5, 6, 7 and 8. They had two rooms at a college in which they had this championship going on.. from 9:30am to 11am in one room the 8th graders competed and in the other the 5th graders. When that was over the 7th graders and 6th graders competed
Here is Princess with her friend J messing around between matches.

Then it was time to get down to business

Princess and this boy A(shown here in the pictures) answered all the questions in this one round.

Their hard work paid off and for the 2nd year in a roll our 6th graders bought home the 1st place trophy

Here are our Champions with there advisers.
Now for a little VICTORY DANCE!!!!!

Our 5th grade team Also brought home the Championship for 5th grade

So did the 7th graders.. This is the 3rd year in a roll that our 7th graders won, they won as 5th graders as well as 6th graders . The 8th graders from our town came in a very close 2nd place.. This was the 1st year they didn't win.
A group shot of the 5th and 6th grade teams.
another group shot with their Principal from the 5th and 6th grade school.
Afterwards.. The superintended of our city schools paid for lunch at Wendy's for the 4 teams.
Here is a picture of Princess and her friend KD at lunch.
A great time was had by all... We are so proud of these kids for all the hard work they have done.. Great Job Princess.
