It is neither our responsibility nor within our capability to maintain ourselves in a state of salvation. God began this work in us and He will assure its continuance until the day of Jesus Christ.
The "day of Jesus Christ" is the day when Christ returns for His people

Isn't it wonderful to know we are not left alone to figure our salvation out on our own, but God has promised us He would take care of it all.
