Christmas Tour of Homes.

Welcome to our home. This is what the front of the place looks like this December 2007.
Here follow me around the side of the house. My Driveway is at the back of the place so 99% of the time people enter from the back.
Ok here we are the back of the house
Come on it it is getting cold out here. When we enter we are in the kitchen and dinning room area.. These are some of the Christmas decorations you will see while in here.

This sits on my dinning room table.
Can I offer you some cookie, hot chocolate or maybe some pie. Oh you have to try the Pie, It's my husbands favorite. I have been making it for him for years and it is so simple and easy

4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
1 HONEY MAID Graham Pie Crust (6 oz.)
1 cup milk
1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

MIX cream cheese, 1 Tbsp. milk and the sugar in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Gently stir in half of the whipped topping. Spread onto bottom of crust.

POUR 1 cup milk into large bowl. Add pumpkin, dry pudding mixes and spices. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. (Mixture will be thick.) Spread over cream cheese layer.

REFRIGERATE 4 hours or until set. Top with remaining whipped topping just before serving. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.

Let me show you the rest of the place.

This is the view you see as you leave the dinning room and enter into the living room. Here have a seat we will be in her awhile. Here is the view of the Christmas tree all lite up.. I LOVE lights. I truly enjoy them when all the other lights in the house are turned off and all I see are the Christmas light

But I thought I should turn on some lights so you can get a better view of the tree
This is our fireplace and how the mantel is decorated.
The Center
The Left side
The right side
Now with it all lite up the way I love to look at it.

Lets take a closer look at the tree and some of the ornaments on it. This next one is my most favorite ornament.. Well they all have a story and memory behind them. Since the kids get a new one each year to hang on the tree, but this is Alyssa's only ornament. I got it just to remind me of her on what would have been her 1st Christmas. It is a willow tree angel called angel embrace. The card on it reads holding close that which we hold dear.enough of the tree let me show you some of the other stuff in the living roomWhat was that?? Oh Yes.. you just go past the Christmas tree into the foyer once you are past the computer desk turn to your left you can't miss it the light is on the left as soon as you walk in.

Here is what you will find in the foyer on top of the computer desk and oppisite the computer is the front door. Sure your more then welcome to go out the front door. Just make sure to bundle up it is cold out there.

A look back up at the house from the front.
Thank you for stopping by and having some pie. It was really nice visiting with you..
I do hope you come back and visit often.. It was great having you.. Don't forget to visit others on the Christmas Tour Of Homes.. you can find them all over at Boomama's
You all have a Very Merry Christmas.

Alyssa's ornament is just perfect. I am so sorry for your loss but so touched by the ornament and how perfect it's message is. What a reunion that will be one day - you and she in Heaven. It will be JUST like that ornament. My prayer is that the Lord will wipe your tears away and allow you to keep that peace in your heart till you two are joined again one day.

God bless you! Thanks for the pie! My husband will love it.

xoxo Julie

We have the same Vader. We have tons of Star Wars ornaments. We didn't put them out this year though. I wanted to get a four foot tree and use red lights and put them all on that tree, but I ran out of time(and money...lol)

Your pie looks like it could be in a mag. It looks very yummy!!

Thanks for the tour. I was at my mom's yesterday most of the day and didn't get to join in all of the fun, but I may post a few pictures sometime today. :o)

Lovely.

I love the willow angel, and what it means. I collect a new angel ornament each year in honor of my own little four.... but the fav is the one that my former pastor's wife got for us the year we lost our first. It's a little porcelain angel baby riding a lamb, and it's dated '98. The freaky part was that she bought it for us before we had the miscarriage. Today it's one of my favorite ornaments on the tree.
