Faith-Lift Friday(11/28/08)

Psalm 73: 23-26

23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

I read this in one of the devotionals I did this week and it kept running though my mind and heart.

Many things about tomorrow
I don’t seem to understand;
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand. —Stanphill

Let God do the holding and you do the trusting.

I'm trying to think of the song that comes from. I'll have to ask Hubby when he gets home, he's good with the old songs. Love your thankful list! Aren't we blessed to have a saviour that loves us more then we can ever know?!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I hope to get started on a post today but with so much to put away it's iffy! lol! The putting away isn't as much fun as the getting ready and the eating! Hope you had a wonderful day with your dear family!!!! xoxox
