Off for the weekend.

Well I'm off for the weekend of sun and fun and softball. This weekend marks the 1/2 way point for Princess's Traveling Tournament fastpitch softball for the summer.. This is tournament #4 in the last five weeks.

Little Man has been to 2 of the tournaments so far but Sweet Pea and Mr Man hasn't been to any yet..

Here is Little Man at the 1st tournament back in the middle of May.This weekend we are taking all the kids and just making it a little mini vacation get away. We are staying in a hotel with a swimming pool about 10 minutes from the fields. The fields also have a really nice playground right in the middle of it so Sweet Pea and Mr Man will be able to run and play and have a good time also.

Princess always has a good time at these tournament, besides playing the sport she loves the most, she gets to spend the whole weekend hanging out with her friends.

I don't think I'll be doing the menu plan Monday this week, seeing how I won't be planning a meal until Monday evening.. I'll be busy all day Monday.. In the morning Princess leaves for church summer camp for a week and Sweet pea has a t-ball game at night.. I'll try to get over here Sunday night and give an update of our weekend away, but if not it will be because I didn't finish up the packing for Princess to go to camp..

I'll miss you all. Don't have too much blogging fun without me. :P

Sweet Pea's afternoon with mom

Yesterday, Wednesday June 13, 2007 something odd happened. I only had one child with me. :) You see Tuesday I was over at my moms house and I was getting ready to leave to make it back home in time to cook dinner, eat dinner and get to Mr Man's baseball game, when Princess came up and said "Can I spend the night with grandma" I said ok and then my mom said "I'll keep Little Man over night also since he is still napping" So I left my parents house with two of my four kids. I had Mr Man who had a baseball game, and Sweet Pea who couldn't stay because she has safety town this week.
Anyways my IL's came to Mr Man's game and after the game he asked them if they would drive him over to my mom's house, they live in the same town. They said sure so Princess, Mr Man and Little Man all spent the night at grandma's and I was left at home with Sweet Pea..
Sweet Pea being the 3rd of 4 children doesn't get alot of one on one time normally. Not because we don't make the time, but because she normally wants to do whatever big sister or brother is doing so she doesn't want to ever just stay home by herself, so this was nice.
We woke up this morning, had breakfast got dress and I took her to safety town.This is a picture I took of her when I went to pick her up this afternoon from safety town.
Since I don't normally get to spend that one on one time with her, I thought it would be nice if we did lunch together out some place, so I let her pick where she wanted to go out to lunch at and she picked Taco Bells. It was really fun getting to spend some time with my baby girl.. Sniff she is getting so big, Just about 5 1/2 years old and doing safety town and getting ready to head off to kindergarten in the fall and then next thing you know college and getting married and having kids of her own.. sniff sniff sniff.. Ok well maybe I'm getting ahead of myself.. BUT she is growing up faster then I like. She is just way to fun to hang around with and lunch was a blast..
I thought I would get a picture of the two of us together.. because like all good blogger I knew I wanted to blog about our afternoon out and I always enjoy photos to go with the blog post LOL.. so I stood behind and was holding the camera phone out in front of the two of us trying to do one of those self photos that always makes ones face looks so much fatter then it is.. when the lady at the table next to me took pity on us and said, "would you like me to take the picture for you" So I said Yes thank you and I think we ended up with a great picture of a great day spent with my little girl.. This evening while at home I showed this picture to DH, who LOL at me and said "taking pictures at Taco Bell, Man I need to get you on more vacations" LOL... yeah something about posing for a photo at a local taco bell did seem a bit odd but who cares.. me and my baby was having a good time. Just wish i would have done something with my hair before hand :P

Time Travel Tuesday (Vacations)

Today for our Time Travel Tuesday, Annie has us traveling back to a favorite or memorable vacation..
Well now we are talking, Vacations are always favorite times and memorable time for my family.. Not only as a kid growing up, but also now that I have kids of my own. My family LOVES there vacations. So Sit back relax, grab your bag of popcorn(another thing my family loves LOL) and get ready to do alot of time traveling with me and my family this week.
Our 1st stops will be way back when I was a little kid growing up. The 1st year we will visit is 1977. I was 4 1/2 years old(because you know you ALWAYS have to add that 1/2 year in there) my little sister was 2 1/2 years old and my parents had planned to take a 2nd honeymoon and leave us with our grandma, ONLY when the time came they figured they would have more fun with us then missing us.. So we all got to go with them.

In the summer of 1977 we took a camping trip with my parents and with my dad parents, we had a little pop up camper that one of the people from my grandpa's church let him use(Grandpa was there Pastor so they figured they could trust him LOL) I really don't remember where we went as far as which state we were in.. I think it was New Jersey but I don't know why I think that.. but I remember we stay at a Yogi Bear Park or was it called Jellystone park.. don't remember that either LOL, BUT I do remember they had this guy dressed in a Yogi Bear costume drive around to say hi to the kids and my sister loved him sat by him and got a picture but NOT me NO THANK YOU.. I was so afraid of that bear driving a golf cart.

The next summer we did our vacationing in MI. I was 5 1/2 and my sister was 3 1/2. This year we had another person added to our vacation plans.. My little brother who was only a month or two old.

Lets travel a few years to the summer of 1980, we took another trip to Niagara Falls Canada. This trip I'll never forget, besides thinking I was so grown up all of 7 1/2 years old, and loving my brown sandals.. We played a trick on my mom. I'll save that story for another post.
here is my family. My sister who was 5 1/2, me at 7 1/2(though my sister is just as tall as me) my mom, my dad and my brother 2 years old.

In 1982 we went to Florida for our summer vacation. We all loved Florida so much that we started after that 1st trip of going there every summer for vacation . Even after I got married that 1st summer I left DH at home and went with my parents to the beach. that was summer of 1995 after that I became a mom and never made it back to Florida until this past April.

That's it for the photos of memorable vacations for me while growing up.. I could fill 100's of blog post with them but I'll stop there..
Now.. for a more resent vacation that meant the world to me. It was the one vacation I needed more then anything in the world. In April 2004 I was 13 weeks pregnant and lost the baby. I was dealing and going on with life but I was so extremely sad and found myself crying just about every hour when the kids weren't needing me to be a mom. DH came home one day in May and told me to start packing we were taking a mini vacation, we were going to spend mothers day in TN. He knew this mothers day was going to be a killer for me and wanted to help get my mind off of the baby I would never get to get a mothers day card from. Traveling the 8 hours in the van was a little hard, because TN had become our yearly vacation spot with his parents and I kept thinking about how I thought the next time we went down there I was going to have Alyssa with us.. So I just kept looking out the window while we were driving along and crying but trying not to let anyone know I was crying.
When we got to TN and started doing vacation stuff, swimming and letting the kids ride rides.. I was starting to feel a little better but still sad.. Then it happened. Princess wanted to ride bummer boats, and so did Mr Man but he was only 4 1/2 years old and couldn't ride them without an adult so I went on with him.. THAT is when it Happened.. I Smiled and was truly having fun for the very 1st time since losing the baby.. I remember getting off those boats thinking.. oh my goodness, I can smile again.. I can find happiness again.. (funny though I'm talking about happiness but still tearing up as I type this.. )
But that vacation will always have a spot as one of my favorite vacations because it was the first time I could smile after losing our baby. Now to end this Trip though time. I'll leave you with one of the most fun vacations ever. April 2007 spring break vacation to Florida.

Meun Plan Monday (June 11, 2007)

Last week menu plan,I had this whole grilling thing going on. ONLY problem is NOTHING I had planned last week happened. I didn't cook even one of the the meals and we didn't go camping like we had planned for the weekend..

We had rain last week and ball games were rained out so instead of using the grill in the rain and using up my quick and easy meals we can eat on the run.. We did other things.

Last week instead of Hamburgers we had mini meat loaf that was Monday, Tuesday we did chicken, instead of bratwurst, Wednesday did sloppy Joe's instead of chili and Thursday Fish instead of steak.

So this week I'm going to plan on doing the same plan I had from last week. So here it is.

Monday: Hamburgers on the grill, french fries and corn on the cob.

Tuesday: bratwurst, green beans and applesauce

Wednesday: Chili and peanut butter sandwiches, and/or just butter sandwiches for my girls since they don't like peanut butter.

Thursday: Steak and bake potato's on the grill.

Friday-Sunday: This weekend we will be out of town and eating out.

Lets see if I can stick with the plan this week.

Wednesday Princess team won and Princess pitched 3 innings. had one hit and got walked twice
Thursday the day I didn't have games Sweet Pea's team did a make up game for the game that was rained out on Tuesday. her team won also(though they don't keep score in T-ball but the kids and parents always seem to know the score anyways LOL) She was up to bat 3 times and got on base each time. One inning she played 2nd base and a ball was hit past her she went running for it got the ball and tagged to runner out right before he got to 2nd. It was truly the only play of the game.
Friday Mr Man's baseball game, At the start of the last inning we were ahead by 3 runs. The other team was up at bats, we had a bad inning and scored 6 runs.. So we went into our last bats down by 3. We had two outs and bases were loaded. still down by 3, This little boy come up to bat and he nails it, sends that ball fling all the way to the fences.. GRAND SLAM... We win the game by ONE. during the game, Mr Man played left field, right field, catcher and 3rd base. He got up to bat 3 times and had a good game, 2 singles and a double.

Princess game on Friday night they won 22-7, she had one hit and walked 3 times. (can you tell I went with Mr Man to his game and DH went with Princess.. LOL)

Saturday
Game 1. Princess team won. She played 1st base and had 1 hit and 1 walked once and struck out once. They won 4-2
Game 2. Princess had a good game. Played 1st base again. Had 2 hits, and 2 walks. and and scored each time she got on base. BUT sadly the team didn't have a good game and they lost 11-8
Game 3 was another lose. Princess only got up to bat twice had 1 hit but got tagged out stealing home and then hit the ball to right field but was thrown out at 1st The score was 4-2
Game 4 ended in a tie due to there time limit. Princess played 1st again and had 2 hits, walked once and struck out ones. and the score was tied 6-6
Sunday
Game 1 Princess played 1st base and did well there but her stick was off and she didn't get any hits. We ended up losing 11-2
Game 2 (last game of this tournament) We played the #1 team. This team was out of Columbus and has played in 4 different tournaments so far this year and has took home the 1st place trophy each time. Princess got to pitch this game and not just the normal 3 innings and then a new pitcher takes over sort of thing that the coach had been doing all weekend.. but she pitched the WHOLE Game.. and she was doing good too, I was so proud of her. She only walked 4 batters, and stuck out about 5. This team had some really powerful hitters, They also had a pitcher that our team just couldn't hit. We scored 3 points in the 1st inning and they got 1. After that though our batting wasn't there, The next 3 innings it was 3 up 3 down.. all strike outs. I tell ya this girl was just that good of a pitcher.. Aubrie was hanging with her though, She was pitching strikes but like I have mentioned before when you take Princess off 1st base they don't have anyone really to take her place and they missed about 7 easy outs over on 1st base(or what should have been outs) by over throwing the ball or the person playing 1st not knowing what to do. and at the end of the 2nd inning the score was 9-3. Princess was the 1st batter at in the 5th inning(It was her 2nd time up to bat 1st time she hit a line drive to pitcher and the girl caught it) She nailed the ball and sent it flying over 2nd baseman's head and into the grass, she got a double out of that, then stold 3rd and then the next batter hit her home which started a rally for us. But we were unable to get caught up before the time limit of the game was up. We ended up playing 6 innings and lost to the 1st place team 12-6.

On May 30 Sweet Pea's preschool had there end of year picnic at the park.
They each bring a bagged lunch and eat then they just play play play for hours. The kids had a great time. Here are a few photos of Sweet Pea, her friend J and her friend K.
J was so cute running around with her little camera posing Sweet pea on everything and then telling her "no no lets turn you this way" and then posing her again and then taking her picture.




Though when her 24 or whatever shots were up she started to crying because she thought she should be able to take pictures all day long.. She is so cute, and Sweet Pea just loves her to death. Sad thing is she lives in a different town and they won't be going to kindergarten together next year.

Sweet Pea's Last day of preschool/ Mr Man's art show.

Thursday May 24, 2007 was Sweet Pea's last day of preschool ever.. You think I would be all teary eyed and sad, but I must be getting use to this sort of thing, because it really didn't phase me.. I was excited for her, but not sad. With Princess and Mr Man I think I felt sad that they were growing up, this time not so much so.. Just really excited that my baby girl has completed her preschool years. The Little girl who last year, her 1st year of preschool hung to my leg and didn't want to go to school EVERY single day though out the whole year, this year turned into a big girl yelling bye as she walked into the class room to play with her friends.. Now she is done and will be on her way to kindergarten in the fall.

Time Travel Tuesday(Dad's)

Today with Father day coming soon, Annie over at My Life As Annie, would like us to travel back in time to memory of our Fathers..

There are just way to many memories of my dad that are just the coolest, for me to just pick one

So Let me just introduce you to my dad. "Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, when your perfect in every way. I can't wait to look in the Mirror, I get better looking each day. To know me is to Love me, I must be one heck of a man. Oh Lord it's hard to be humble but I'm doing the best that I can" I can remember my dad singing this all smiles and joking around while getting dress for church and combing his hair.
This is my dad, he was born Dec 29, 1951, He Married my mom on Sept 19, 1971 and My birth on Nov. 9, 1972 made him a dad. Here is me and my dad when I was a new born. I had some cool parents aways willing to play with us where ever we were be it, in our yard, in a pool on vacation.. Just anywhere.. family games of pool tag, or back yard baseball or football, drive way basketball games. You name it Dad was there playing along with us.. He even invented our living room soccer matches on Friday nights, Mom just had to close her eyes on that one and let us have our fun. The photo above I'm not sure of the date but, it was of me, my dad and my sister. I was about 4 years old Maybe close to 5 and my sister 2 year old maybe close to 3 years old.
If there was music playing, dad us to start to dance in front of the big mirror we had in our living room, and while we were still small enough he use to put us on his shoulders and dance around the living room with us up there..
Some of the things I remember my dad saying to us before school or before one of our sport games were
"just have fun" and "Just win baby" one of my favorite things he use to say about basketball was "get the ball, shoot the ball, get the ball again" any time I was sick and looking feeling awful he would say in this fun voice "It's better to look marvelous then to feel marvelous"
WE always took at least one big summer vacation, we traveled a few different places but once we went to florida, that is where we wanted to go every summer so dad made sure he got us there. Dad was also know to come home from work on friday nights and tell us to pack a bag we are leaving in an hour or two for weekend trips to Niagra Falls. This use to blow my moms mind.. but boy what fun it was.These shots were of me, dad, my sister and my brother. I think I was about 9 years old in these. One was on a camping trip and the other was all of us cuddled up in mom and dad bed as we use to do all the time while dad told us our bedtime story.
On March 21, 1976 while cuddled up in bed and listening to our stories, My dad lead me to the Lord. That night I excepted Christ as my Savior. This on was when I was about 10 or 11 years old, homemade pizza and pop and afterward a family game of UNO and a movie.. Weekends around my house were always so much fun. All my friends wanted to stay every weekend with us.
Dad was always fun and cool to be around.. One day he came home from work and us kids were making my mom crazy and she told my dad to take us to the bedroom and "deal" with us.. He put a pillow on his lap and took his belt and said to us, Ok when I hit the pillow you scream or yell ouch and pretend to cry. LOL.. That doesn't me he never punished us but it wasn't all that often, I can only really remember one time my dad grounded me. It was on a Saturday night shortly after I started dating DH(remember from last weeks TTT he was the 1st guy I dated) DH was over at our house and we had watched a movie with my parents and my parents were heading off to bed, Dad told me as he was on his way to bed to send DH home by 11pm, Well at midnight I was sneaking DH out of the back door and tip toeing up stairs to my bedroom(My parents room was down stairs) Just as I got to the top of the stairs my dad looked up and yelled from the bottom of the stairs "Karen" me "yes sir" dad" you're grounded, no phone and no going out this week" Me "Ok" and off to bed we both went. Things got a little busy as we all got older, but we always had fun. This was on Nov 1, 1993 It was my sisters 1st year at college we all got together and went to visit her on her birthday. back row left to Right, My grandma(dad's mom), Dad, My brother, my sister, and my mom, and me down there in front, yes I'm the short one, 2 years older then my sister and 5 years older then my brother and way shorter then both of them LOL This was at mine and DH wedding Oct 29, 1994. My daddy cried.. which made me tear up. On January 18, 1996 when I had Princess, I made my dad a grandpa for the 1st time.. He always thought he was too young to be a grandpa, and he was young still but that is what you get when you get married at 19 years old and have your 1st child when your 20 and then your oldest child has her 1st child when she is 23. Right after Princess was born, my grandma(dad's mom) said something to him and called him Grandpa. He looked at her and said "there is only one person in this world who can call me grandpa and she doesn't talk yet" LOL, he came around to the idea of being a grandpa really quick.. Good thing too seeing as now he has 6 grandchildren :)
I think I would be lost with out my dad. He isn't only a cool dad, he is very handy. Since buying our 1st home, he has put in our kitchen, drywalled pretty much the whole house, changed a laundry /mud room into a nice drywalled raised ceiling bedroom, fixed our washer/dryer, heater and central air. put on a new roof over our front porch, fixed and put siding on our chimney.. fixed a leaky roof. and remodeled our bathroom not once but twice, once when we 1st moved in and once This past March.. besides being very helpful around the house, he also does all my smaller repair and attempts to do the bigger repairs on our cars. Just a week ago he put new breaks on my van. So he has saved us a ton of money doing all this stuff for us..
Not only do I totally love my Dad, My kids think he is the greatest also. He has given them an open invite to spend the night over there anytime they want as long as he is home.. He takes them to movies and out to eat, and fishing, and to chuck e cheeses and just basically any place they want to go. and I think at least one of my kids end up spending the night over there every week.
My dad is the most wonderful dad on Earth..

UPDATE To This weeks menu..
here it is Monday and I'm straying from my plan. Grilling was out tonight, we had rain and storms all day today, All ball games were rained out and so was my grilling.. so instead of Hamburgers on the grill, I made the Mini meatloaf and mashed potato's and corn

This week at the ball fields #1

With three kids playing ball this summer, we have alot of ball games to go to.
Because of this I figured I would just do a weekly recap of there game on Sunday nights this summer.

A little background info to start off with.

Sweet Pea my 5 year old is playing t-ball this year, it is her 2nd year to play. We started her 2 years early so really she shouldn't even be playing yet. She just finished up preschool and this t-ball league are for kids who just finished K and 1st grade, so she is like the youngest one out there.

Mr Man my 7 year old is playing his 1st year of real baseball(before it was t-ball) He is one of the youngest on his team also. The team he is playing for is 7,8 and 9 year old. but he is doing well.

Princess my 11 year old didn't start playing ball till she was at the end of her 2nd grade year, but took to it like a fish to water. She now plays for not one but two traveling fastpitch softball teams, One is a league team from here in our town, the leave of play there isn't all that great, most of the girls playing on all the teams in the league are new to the game of fastpitch, with it being either there 1st or 2nd year playing. On that team she is one of there starting pitchers and also plays 1st base. The other team she is on, is a tournament team, who travels all over on weekend to compete in Tournaments.. This is like the big time competition teams you might find on TV every so often.. These girls are all great ball players, you have to try out to make these sort of teams out of like 60 to 100 girls at each try out. and then they only take 12 to 14 girls on the team. This team is from a big city about 1 1/2 hours west of us.. and the girls practise year round.
The 1st tournament they played in this spring/summer season they won and brought home the championship trophy.

OK now that you got the background down.. ON to this weeks games.

Monday May 28, 2007 was a holiday and we had no games

Tuesday May 29, 2007 Mr Man had a game it was his 3rd game. There 1st game they won, 2nd game they lost and this game they won. Mr Man played right field, and 3rd base. He didn't have a good night up at bat, which sort of had him upset. He struck out all 3 times up to bat. It was good learning for him though, you know that we all can't be perfect all the time, but for a perfectionist such as he is it was hard for him to except.

Wednesday May 30, 2007 was the season opener for Princesses local league team we played Perkins and we won 22 to 11. Princess pitched 2 innings and played 1st base the rest of the game. We were ahead by so much even the 3rd string picture got some pitching action this game. While Princess was pitching she stuck out 5 batters and walked 1, that one she walked she ended up tagging out at home plate. So in those two innings she accounted for all 6 outs. At bats she did well also.. walked the 1st time up and then stole 2nd, 3rd and home for a point. 2nd up at bats she hit a short ball just past the pitcher and was thrown out at 1st, Her last at bats she hit a nice shot over pitcher and 2nd baseman's head and it landed in the grass. she got a single on that and then stole 2nd and 3rd and home.. Though her slide at home was not very pretty at all. LOL

Mr Man had another game, This was a much better game for him, but His team lost. Mr Man played catcher, right field and 3rd base. Got up to bat 3 times. His 1st at bats he hit to pitcher and was thrown out at 1st, but came walking off the field smiling. His coach said "Good Job Mr Man(well he used his name LOL)" and Mr Man smiled and yelled back "hey at least I hit the ball this time" It was just what he needed, to make contact with the ball, after Mondays game he was so down on himself. 2nd time up at bat he hit between short stop and 2nd for a single. and his 3rd at bat hit one about an inch away from the fences for a triple. He had a good game and was very pleased with himself.

The weekend of June 1-3, 2007
Princess had a tournament about 3 hours south of us
Friday June 1, 2007 Princess team won. She played 1st base. she walked all 3 times up at bat, and as she normally does, she was steeling 2nd, 3rd and home. ONLY at her last at bats during the last inning of the game, she got walked, stole 2nd and while steeling 3rd she slid wrong and jammed her right foot into 3rd base and ended up in the ER needing x-rays(her coaches made her go get them, big time traveling tournament team with trainers and team insurance to cover these sort of things so if the coach wants you checked you need to go) They were in the ER from 9pm to 11:45pm.. but all is well it is just badly bruised.
This however did not stop her from wrapping her sore foot and playing out the rest of the tournament.. Though the coach did baby her and only played her when she was needed(I know I'm her mom so this will sound like a mother bragging but it is the truth, she is there best 1st basemen and the team sort of falls apart when she isn't playing that spot because she can just make plays there that the other girls just can't do the reaches, the stretches.. so they really need her there)

Saturday June 2, 2007
game 1. The coach sat Princess to rest her foot more and they lost
game 2. They played Princess on defences only.. In other words she played 1st base the whole game but they didn't bat her. So she didn't have to run on her foot. Her team won
Game 3. Played Princess the same at game 2 and her team won.
Game 4. They thought she was ready to bat.. So she played 1st base and got to bat, Though she didn't get any hits she was walked every time up. but she did mange to steel all the bases and score every time around.

Sunday June 3, 2007
game 1. Princess played 1st and got to bat, Got on every time by walking again LOL. BUT there team lost.
game 2 same as game one with the exception of Princess striking out once. and there team lost again which put them out of the tournament and they headed home


That was the end of Week #1 of This week at the ball fields.
check in next week when sweet pea will be seeing some t-ball action also.

Sunday Six (6/3/07)

It's been a few weeks since I have played Sunday six. Didn't plan on playing this week either with all the plans I had for being out of town, but since that didn't happen with Mr Man being sick(he is still running a fever of 101.1) I thought I would go ahead and play.
Mr Man being the only one playing along this weekend, with Princess out of town and Sweet Pea to busy playing with friends and Little Man just being little and not really talking much.

Mr Man... like you celebrate, like your going to a different school or done with school sort of celebration, that's all.

Mr Man....NO

Mr Man... like you get to be yourself, do something new and different, you can like move away, go to college, buy a new car and stuff.

A Master piece. He wouldn't let me take a good picture of this, he wouldn't stay still long enough.. but he had this lovely art work going up and down both his legs and the top and bottoms of both his feet and every little toe he colored solid green..

And So I blog/ Friday Feast.

I got up this morning, washed clothed, packed suit cases for 6 people to go away for the weekend, worked my bottom off trying to get everyone ready for there fun filled weekend.
DH, Princess and Myself heading south 3 hours for a fun filled weekend of fastpitch softball, a nice hotel with indoor and outdoor swimming and a weekend minus 3 little monkeys who don't much care for sitting still. A weekend where I could not only sit and "WATCH" a ball game without having to chase Little Man around, but also a weekend where I would get a super dark tan sitting at the ball field, and a weekend where I could lay around the pool without having to chase Little Man around and a weekend where I could go into a hottub with out my kids following me.
After school we were to pick the kids up and GO... dropping Mr Man off at my grandparents who were going to keep him over night and take him to his baseball game tomorrow. Then dropping Sweet Pea and Little Man off at my parents because my mom had asked for the kids for the weekend. Then we were off for my almost kid free weekend.(almost because I still had Princess but caring for an 11 year old is ALOT easier then a 2 year old 5 year old and 7 year old)
I was packed and ready to go.. I had about 1 1/2 hours before we left..

THEN I GOT THE CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"This is so and so from name of school, I have Mr Man here in the office with me. I'm not sure what his temperature is yet because we are still taking it, but it is already up to 102.8, we will need you to come pick him up"

~SIGH~
so I picked him up from school early, and took him to the doctor where he still had a 104.2 fever after having had Tylenol in him for an hour. I called all the grandmas, both my grandma and my mom and told them I would be keeping the kids home this weekend.. and I sent DH and Princess off to that fun filled weekend of cookouts and swimming and softball games and time hanging out with the other families of the girls on the team.. So here I sit, with a sick boy still running a high fever.. stuck in the house this weekend..

Earlier I would have said O or 1.. now being home with 3 kids all weekend alone without my DH and one of the kids being sick, PLUS Princess at her softball games where there is always a chance she could get hurt.. I'm thinking it's more like a 4 or a 5 now.
Main Course Tonight is a blue moon! What is something that you believe only happens “once in a blue moon.”
Having my son get sick 2 hours just before I was to leave on a great weekend trip. the having one of the kids get sick isn't a shocker but having it happen right after I got done packing and was all ready to go sort of is PLUS getting to go away without Little Man is also a blue moon sort of thing(though he is getting older so it will happen a bit more I guess)
Dessert When was the last time it rained where you live?
When I started typing out my answers I was going to say lastnight but it is now raining here now.. So NOW would be my answer. :
