While reading Annie's blog today I found this and thought I would do a post of my own.

I have been reading in the book of Romans this week. Early in the week Romans 5:1-5 jumped out at me and I thought those would be really good verses to memories. So this week I have been learning these by heart.

Romans 5: 1-5
1)Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2) By who also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3) And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also; Knowing that tribulations worketh patience
4) And Patience experience and experience hope
5) And hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Isn't it wonderful that God give us peace and that though tribulations we can glory in knowing that God is working in us .

A little later in Romans 8:18 I found this and I liked this verse also so I'm going to learn this on by heart also.

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

That is all I wanted to share this Friday. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

This is such a beautiful post! The part about "peace with God" really jumped out at me too! And, what a needed reminder about glorying in the tribulations because we understand that God is using them to help us bear fruit!
Thank you for participating and for sharing this!!

I am studying in Romans, too!! How neat is that! I'm going verse by verse, and am just on Rom 1:8. However, Rom 8:18 has been such a source of encouragement for a couple of years now!

I am encouraged by those who are committing passages to memory. I haven't done that in a while. My first faith lift is up too.
