Menu Plan Monday(4/23/07)

Happy Monday everyone..
we are looking at another busy week in our house hold with church, awanas, school, drama club practise, baseball practise and softball practise and t-ball sign ups and fall soccer sign ups(yes they do this in spring.) so meals are fast and simple again this week.

Monday: we have drama club, softball and baseball so dinner is going to be Hot Dogs on the grill(the weather here is wonderful) and baked french fries. Total cost for this meal is $7.02 All our dinners will feed the 6 of us plus have leftover for DH's lunch the next day. So this breaks down to about $1.00 per person.

Tuesday: Spaghetti, Garlic bread and a Salad Total cost $8.07 cost per person about $1.15

Wednesday: Home made pizza rolls. Total cost $8.75 cost per person $1.25

Thursday: Hamburger on the grill, corn on the cob, and bake potatoes. Total cost $5.50 cost per person about $0.78

Friday: Smoke Sausage, rice and green beans. Total cost $6.75 cost per person about $0.96

Our desserts for the week are blueberry muffins(DH picked this) and Mr Man's fruit salad.. We have been letting him cut up his own fruit the last week or so and he came up with "his fruit salad" which is chopped Apple, Bananas, Grapes all mixed together in vanilla yogurt. So Mr Man will be making this for us.

The Home made Pizza rolls.
This recipe is my mother in laws(if you can call this a recipe LOL) she use to cook these every Tuesday, as far as I know she still does. We just do them now and again way to much dough to eat them every week..
1st you take thawed frozen bread dough, we use 2 loafs. Break it into 10 parts, roll those 10 parts out.. place pepperoni on them and load them up with mozzarella cheese. Roll them up put 2 or 3 slices at the top to vent, put them on a cookie sheet or pizza pan and cook them at 350 till bread is golden.

Your menu sounds great and simple! My husband is deployed so it is just me and the two kids (ages 2 and 3)...I make myself cook or do something besides bagel bites!! I think I will try the pizza rolls, they would love those!
