Weekend Recap( birthdays and valentine weekend 09)

This weekend seems to have been a little more like what I'm use too.. no more of that sitting around the house doing nothing with a ton of sick people.

Sweet Pea is still getting tired but she isn't sick. So we were able to get her birthday party in.. (after cancelling it twice) All but one girl showed up.. and Sweet Pea had a blast.

Sweet Pea's birthday party.. The girls got to our house at 6:30pm two of them showed up around 5:30pm thinking that was the start time.. so they just played Wii with Sweet Pea until the rest got her.. during the party we ate pizza, played Wii, did air brushed Hannah Montana tattoo's, did make up and nails, did cake and gifts, made candy necklaces, watched two movies and then everyone was asleep. Girls woke up about 7:30am and ate breakfast, played more Wii and barbies and the party was over by 10AM Saturday.

I took over 100 pictures that night.. so once I sort them all, I think Wednesday Wordless post will be a slide show from the party.. so be looking for it.. I have alot of great fun pictures from this night.

Happy Valentines Day BTW!!!!!!!!!!!

After all the party kids left Sweet Pea fell asleep So we left Princess stay home and babysit her while the rest of us got dressed and headed off to Mr Man's last Basketball game. After the game he had a pizza party for his basketball team where they passed out the trophies.

That pizza party ended at 2:30pm and at 3pm I had my family showing up at our house to celebrate the girls birthdays. This was to be done a few weeks ago(since both of them have January birthdays) but with Sweet Pea so sick we had to push it back twice also.. Since we really had so much going on but wanted to get the party done.. we passed on the dinner thing and just did chips cake and family gathering time. that made things a little easier for me :)

Princess had to leave party way though the party to go to Volleyball(see the weekend I planned this party there was no basketball, pizza party or volleyball but plans changed when kids get sick so we just roll with it)

DH's 39th Birthday... or as he likes to call it his 4th anniversary of his 35 birthday ;-)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We went to church.. WE ALL WENT TO CHURCH!!!! you might not understand my excitement in this.. but this was THE FIRST time I have been able to go to morning service in 2009. between it being called off due to snow or ice, me being sick then the kids getting so sick.. this was first time I got to go and the first time we have all been well enough to all go..

After church we had a church chili dinner. We ate but didn't stay long for fellowship because SweetPea started to look not to well but when she told us she was tired we knew we needed to leave. We got home and she slept for 2 hours.

Sunday evening.. I had a nice evening at home writing this post and getting pictures loaded online and watching tv and reading.

DH for his birthday went out with Mr Man and his friend JW to watched a wrestling paid per view something or other I don't get into that crazy stuff.. and almost wish they wouldn't either but I guess it's a guy thing and I don't get it LOL. JW is spending the night when it is over(can you tell they are gone now and it is Sunday night while I'm typing this out)

Princess went to the movies with some friend and then they are all coming back here to spend the night also.. So I'll once again have a house full of kids, just the way I like it.. everyone having fun.

So yes this weekend seems more like a weekend I'm use to..
