It has been ages since I posted.. So much has happened, but I just downloaded the blogger app to my phone,soooo maybe I'll be better at keeping up with my long forgotten blogs..
This is just so wrong and makes me sick to think about. :( Here is more news on the story I posted yesterday about the girl with PANDAS taken fro her parents, if you didn't get to read it you can do so HERE ... this is an email I got from on of the PANDAS support groups I'm part of. Beth Maloney is Lawyer for the family, also a PANDAS mother and author of the book Saving Sammy

For those of you who don't get Beth Maloney's emails, but want to know what you can do to help in the Boston case, this is from Beth. I think these people need national media exposure - NOW. I just cannot fathom that they have to wait 3 weeks for another hearing.
Things are not good with Elizabeth. She remains at Boston Children's Hospital. BCH still refuses to recognize that its "treatment" is a complete failure. She continues to decline. She can no longer walk. She barely speaks. Earlier this evening, I listened to her screaming and wailing in the background from her bed as her brokenhearted father tried to bring me up to date.
There will be a piece in the Boston Globe Magazine about PANDAS within the next three weeks. They contacted me directly as a result of your efforts...someone posted or blogged regarding my earlier emails and that is how the Globe found the story and me. Based on my interview today, which lasted for over an hour, I expect this situation will receive a great deal of attention. Keep posting. Keep blogging. It makes a difference.
I want to be 100% clear that these parents did NOTHING wrong. They took the exact same steps that you or I would have taken to help our children. This could have happened to any one of us. They are living every parent's nightmare...losing custody of their child for trying to do the right thing. And these parents need your help.
The Wrays have given me written permission to share the following information with all of you and the media.
Briefly, Elizabeth was diagnosed with PANDAS by two doctors in NY February 2012. It first showed up as trouble eating. Blood work showed mycoplasma and Lyme. With antibiotic treatment she improved and did well over the summer. But she took a dive in early September. Her parents took her to a hospital near them, but the hospital felt she needed more than it could offer. There were two possibilities suggested: Rochester and Boston Children's. The parents wanted her to go to the first place that had a bed; that was at Boston Children's so she went there. BCH immediately decided that Elizabeth's issues were all psychiatric and not medical, not PANDAS. They have refused to introduce antibiotics. And although she was on a gluten & dairy free diet, BCH immediately introduced both. She has had a spinal tap, EKG, EEG, MRI and many, many other tests. The parents were never given any test results. They were told there were "irregularities" in some tests, but they have not been informed what those irregularities are so they still have no idea. Last Thursday and Friday, the hospital told Jay that Elizabeth was cleared to transfer. He was actively working with Dr. Geller, Dr. Jenike, the OCD Foundation and Rogers Hospital to figure out where would be best for Elizabeth to go. As far as Jay knew, BCH was on board and helping him figure this out. Then on Monday evening at about 5:30 pm he was told to be at Court the next morning when the State would attempt to take custody based on allegations made by BCH. We were in Court Tuesday morning.
The State has been placed in charge of Elizabeth’s care (because it has custody), but the Judge specifically instructed that she may not be moved to the hospital's locked psych unit. I do not fault the Judge for his decision on temporary custody. It's hard to explain in a few sentences... but when a Judge is confronted with the kind of accusations that were leveled against the Wrays, it would have been very difficult for him to simply dismiss the petition (although I tried to get him to do that). He heard me though, and he protected her as much as he felt that he could - given the circumstances - by specifying that she should not be moved pending his final decision. We are scheduled to go back to court on October 23rd. Her parents are in agony knowing that she may suffer for another three weeks at BCH.
Below is the list of the names I was given by the State of those at BCH who spoke with Child Protective Services about having the State of Massachusetts take custody of Elizabeth away from her parents. I have provided as much contact information as possible. Call them. Email them. Make them understand that there are thousands of parents standing behind the Wrays. I want you to call the hospital and ask for these people. I want you to leave voicemails if you don't reach them. They need to know that this movement is only going to grow. Will you do that for us? The general number at the hospital is 617-355-6000. I want the switchboard jammed. Begin every call with “I’m calling about Elizabeth Wray. Please connect me to ...” I want your voices to be so strong and so many that - maybe - then they’ll begin to get it. I want them to know that parents are not longer going to bring their children to BCH. And I want them to know that they cannot hide behind the cloak of the State.

Little Man and Sweet Pea are watching home movies.. they were watching one of Sweet Pea's 2nd birthday and I'm helping her open gifts and I was smiling and laughing in it.. Little Man turns around and gives me a upset looks and said "mom you were happy when I wasn't born??" as I'm LOL I said "No dear I didn't find happiness until the doctor placed you in my arms"(ha yeah I'm a smart butt even to my 7 year old..lol they stand no chance) He didn't pick up on this and said all sad like "yes you were see you were smiling.. without me" hahahahahahaha.. thank you Little Man for pulling me out of my ticked off mood and back to a Happy mommy because my youngest baby was born :)

@10:44PM DH is leaving for work at 3something AM. Princess has to be at St Paul for a 10am volleyball game by 9am, Mr Man has to be in Milan by 10am for his soccer tournament, Little Man has to be behind the middle school at 10am for his soccer game, and Sweet pea has to be there at noon for her soccer game.. There should be 4 of me..... That or DH's weekend OT needs to cool off a bit. We Can Do This.. Thanks mom & dad :-)

@ 11:09AM very productive morning.. spent the last 3 1/2 hours dealing with PANDAS stuff for Sweet Pea, researching stuff making sure what we are doing and will be doing will help her and not hurt her.. Spent 30 minutes of that time on the phone with one of the PANDAS doctors from NJ. In the 30 minute phone call I feel I have learned more then I have in the last 6 months since we found out and started treatment. :-)

@ 11:30AM I have spent all day Mon, Wed, and Thur dealing with doctors after doctor learning more stuff then I ever wanted to about PANDAS.. and while I feel informed I still feel confused, Please just keep praying for sweet pea this immune disorder is just crazy. In the mean time the house looks like a tornado has gone though it twice.. but I do have clean carpets(that was Tuesday) Guess Friday will be house cleaning day.

@6:08PM Back from Rocky River.. Princess's v-ball team took 3rd. As for kids and soccer Sweet pea's team lost 1-4 and Little Man's team tied 3-3 he had 1 goal. Mr Man skipped soccer to go fishing on dad's boat today came home with 27 fish, now I'm off to go watch him at the football field... Later all.

@12:28PM There has been reported a case of strep IN SWEET PEA'S CLASS ROOM.... I'm so scared for her :-( Since the child isn't in school today and it's Monday and the class has been empty all weekend, I'm not pulling her out of school at the moment, but if anyone ends up sick at all this week in her class I'll have to. Please keep her in your prayers.

@ 8:19AM nothing like getting woke up at 1am by a crying 14 year old with a toothache. Still trying to reach the dentist with no luck, thought they opened at 8am. :-( Not only is she sitting here in Pain but she is worrying like crazy that she won't get to school in time to play in her volleyball game tonight.
@2:30PM I hate when a day doesn't go as planned.. I don't know why it bugs me seeing how most of my days Never goes as planned.. that being said.. here I sit not having gotten a thing done today, just being the Mom taxi back and forth all day long to school and doctors and dentist.. and it's about time to go get kids and head... to a volleyball game..maybe I should cook something quick so when DH gets home he can eat.

@11:04AM woke up with the worse back pain I have ever felt, it is so hard to move.. Icy hot, a heating pad and Alive were my best friends this morning.. OH my goodness just typing that makes me feel Old. It still hurts but I'm able to move a little. This I think came from sleeping in a bed with both Little Man & Sweet Pea.. OUCH...
@11:21AM Beside not being able to move without pain, driving to school was awful every time i had to use the break it sent sharp pain into my back. My sweet 5 year old says "I know what will help mommy" then he closes his eyes and said "Dear Jesus make mommy's back not hurt and don't let her die, Amen" :-) think he got the die part from me yelling "ouch I think I'm going to die if i have to use the break one more time" :-)
@7:57PM no school tomorrow, so all my children have left me tonight. Still don't get to sleep in though, Sweet Pea has a dentist appt in the morning for some work to be done.. OH MY.. So not looking forward to that.. Pray she is having a good day tomorrow or this could get interesting.

Yesterday Princess hit her head while at the volleyball invite.. 8 1/2 hours later she was still dizzy, head still hurting and her vision was really blurry.. so Last night we made a trip to the ER and a cat scan was done.. mild concussion.. Yet everyone keeps LOL at her.. while she did this at the invite.. she didn't do it... it playing.. She walked into a pole. LOL.. ~sigh~ that's my girl.
AND TODAY
@9AM 2 youngest R home with me today. both with tummy issues and not feeling well.. YUCK... Guess I'll do more laundry and get some work done around here today,Since it seems I'm stuck in the house today.

@ 4:05PM UGH.. heading off to the doctor with Mr Man here in about 30 mins. He has been coughing and complaining about a sore throat for two days now.. No fever But with Sweet Pea and her issues I HAVE to take him in to be tested for the strep.. Praying it is NOT strep..

@ 12:06pm Trying to explain to the hubby, why we need a new couch.. Yes I agree it is extremely comfy and long enough for him to sleep on.. and I love that the two end are recliners and that there is a fold down table with cup holders in the middle.. BUT It is faded, worn and every cushion is torn and has holes in them... It's time for it to go...

I have to have Princess at Volleyball at 8:30am have Mr Man at his soccer game at 8:30AM, Sweet Pea at her soccer game at 8:30am and Little man at his soccer game at 8:30am... Yea I haven't figured out just how we are doing all this yet.. but I do know I need to wake up early tomorrow.. So I should go to bed.. Night all.
@ 12:35 PM Mr Man's team won 7-0, Sweet Pea's team won 6-2, and Little Man's team lost 5-4 BUT Little Man scored 3 of those 4 goals. So he is very pleased :-) Princess still at Volleyball and Sweet pea has softball at 3. Busy day and I need to do laundry and clean the house.
@ 11:50PM Please put this on your status if you know someone (or are related to someone) who suffers from stupidity. Stupidity is a real condition and should be taken seriously. You could be sitting next to a sufferer right now. There is still no known cure for stupidity, but we can raise awareness.......... 93% won't copy and paste this... because............... they don't know how to copy and paste. Will you?
@ 11:58pm Mr man is sick and can't stop coughing to save his life... not only is he not going to get sleep tonight.. I don't think the rest of us are either. :-( I have given him everything I can and he still can't stop coughing.. blah..

@ 2PM Mr man still feeling sick, no fever, but he has chills and still coughing alot. Kept him home from church this morning in hopes that whatever is going on will be gone tomorrow because DH starts back to work in the morning and I still have this week left of the sub job I'm doing So pray he is well tomorrow so he can make it to school.. and that he doesn't pass this lovely stuff around to the rest of us.
@ 10:26PM tomorrow should be interesting. DH goes back to work after 3 1/2 months off and on 1st shift don't remember the last time he worked days.. Plus not only is Mr man not feeling Well Sweet Pea is now complaining her throat hurts.. hope she is better in the morning or it's right to the doctor with her. :-( In happy news I got... to spend time with my favorite twins today :-)

@9:59 PM wonderful day. loaded the van with 6 kids drove 2 hours to Cortland, dropped the 3 who were playing ball off took the 3 who weren't to a fun playground went back to watch 2 softball games, lost one 8-2 then played the same team again and won that one 4-2(Princess pitched that game) drove back home got back just in time to... wash hands & faces headed to church, youth group and the start of awanas. @9:25AM sitting at Sweet Peas game next 2 a man who has stopped talking and all he is doing is complaining about every under the sun
@ 2:30PM Sweet Pea's team lost 3-2, Mr Man's team lost there 1st game ever today 4-3 and Little Man's team won 7-0 and Little Man made 4 of those goals. After soccer the boys went to my parents, Sweet Pea was to have softball, ONLY she isn't doing well again :-( So no softball for her.. Homecoming for Princess later this evening.. hoping to get a few good shots of that..

@12:27AM two homecomings out of the way.. now I'm going to bed.. I'm not feeling very well blah..... so not looking forward to the alarm going off at 5am(for DH) and again at 6am(for Princess) and 7am for the rest of us... night all.
@8:06AM OK sleep seemed to have done nothing for me feeling sick. :-( Thinking my plan today is nothing.. or as little as I can get by with.. this is not a good feeling..
@5:18PM this day hasn't gone at all as planned and i still feel crappy :(
@10:40PM spent my day getting the last of the paper work ready for the 504 meeting for Sweet Pea tomorrow.. Taking Princess to the doctor with strep like symptoms and a 102 fever, and then over to the hospital for xrays on her foot, since we were at the doctors I had them look at her foot and they thought she needed the xrays.. Rap...id strep test was Neg.. and won't have the results of her foot till tomorrow..

@ 4:47PM The 504 meeting went ok today.. Thought it went well till I opened my email a little bit ago and found an email letting me know they need more stuff from the doctor.. Thought I had enough paper work from both her doctors.. guess I'll be making another call into the doctors office to see what we can do..

@ 7:45AM 4 hours of sleep is really just not enough.
@10:53PM God is Good!!!!! been in contact back and forth with the school today and I think this 504 thing is working itself out.. Just need to run a few things by Sweet Pea's doctor and I think we are all set good to go. Bad thing is there is already a known case of strep reported in the kindergarten... hummmmm... might be time take Little Man in to be checked and Princess rechecked.

@5:15PM Today started the day at the doctors with Princess, Then came home and steam vac. the living room, took the fall softball shirts over to have numbers put on them, stopped at walmart to pick up some stuff for sick kids, then over to CVS to pick up perscribtions, came home made lunch, then went over and helped my grandma watch the twins from 2-4:30pm about ready to leave for Mr Man's 2 hour soccer pract. which starts at 5:30
@10:21PM I can't stop sneezing...
@11:22PM Night all.. tomorrow holds much of the same for me.. starting the day dropping off kids at school, then if Princess doesn't have a fever will be taking her to her dentist appt in the morning, then coming home and cleaning the carpet in the dinning room.. and who knows what more after that.. maybe go get my baby fix helping with the twins again :-) though I should start on the bedrooms but what fun would that be.

Tomorrow I hope to do a weekend recap and then on Tuesday Maybe do a facebook update thing for all the stuff I posted in Oct.. and that should bring us all up today.. Then on Wed hopefully do a wordless weds of Princess homecoming pictures.
Hi Blogging world, I'm still here just very busy..
The 2nd week of school I got called for a 3 week long sub job which I just finished up this week, only on Friday got called and asked if I could do it another week.. So I said yes..
DH got called back to work last week and just finished up his 1st week back at work.. Praise the Lord for the call back after being laid off for 3 months.
Kids have alot going on which keep me jumping.. At the moment.. Princess is doing high school volleyball, and travel softball, Mr Man is doing soccer, Sweet Pea is doing Soccer and travel softball, and Little Man is doing soccer... all along with school and church... and tomorrow starts the 1st week of Awanas and youth group.
So my normal week day is get the kids and myself to school after school soccer practices and volleyball games, homework 9pm dinner and bedtime.
My weekends are not much better..:-)
Today.. 9am Soccer game for Mr Man, which ended at 10:30am
10am Soccer game for Little Man, 12pm Soccer game for Sweet Pea, came home cooked lunch ate lunch and got Princess and her friend S.F. to the high school to get on the bus for a 4:30pm Volleyball game,which I'm about ready to walk out the door to get to myself.
Tomorrow we have a 3 hour drive to get to Princess's travel softball games, and then tomorrow evening like 20 mins after we get home is the 1st night of Awanas..
so I'm just taking this quick moment to say hello and hopefully will find the time to start posting pictures and get back into the swing of things here at the blog...

I haven't been the best blogger over the last few months.. but I have been sort of keeping up with Sweet Pea's journey with the immune disorder she has, PANDAS over at my other blog.. I just posted another long post over there if your interested.. click here to view it.
Ok I think I have lost my mind and in need of help ASAP....
I just opened up my blog so I could get started on the last 4th of July post..
I'm sitting here pretty much alone.. kids are at VBS and DH is asleep.. there is no noise in my house at all.. All of a sudden I start hearing music sort of really low like it was coming from the other room.. I jump a foot and I'm about ready to go see who or what started this music..... when it hit me it was coming from my blog that I just opened.. LOL....

There is a group of parents with children who have PANDAS who has created a group to win some of this money Pepsi is giving away.. but in order to get the money we need to have the most votes. the groups is called. I use to have to Swaddle Little Man up so tightly with all the receiving blankets I could find and then in the middle of the night he would just kick and toss and turn his way out of them, waking himself up..
I'm done having kids so I wouldn't have a need for these anymore.. But my brother is expecting his 1st, a set of twins.. and if they are anything like Little Man was normal blankets just won't do. and when your talking two to wake you up at night.. your going to want as little as possible to wake those little babies up..

BUT you see I have started to keep a journal of how Sweet Pea is doing day by day while starting on the medication and all that is going on.. I'm awful at doing journals on paper .. So I made a post over her just never published it of what she has been like.. Today I just thought why not just make this journal a blog.. So that is what I did..

Really it might happen.. One day I might just get back into the swing of thing and start blogging like I use to. In the mean time I'll give ya all a quick update
Over Easter we went on Vacation to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and Princess got picked up by a team out of Knoxville who was looking for a pitcher to play in a fastpitch tournament the Saturday of Easter. She pitched 4 full games that weekend and 2 of those games she pitched No Hitters.... WOW she was on a roll... I do plan to share a ton of pictures from that trip with you over the next few days.
The weekend after Easter Princess played in another one of her J.O. Volleyball tournament.. Did I mention she made a national/American team this year so the play is alot harder and stronger then we saw last year.. She has one more tournament and then the regional tournament left for J.O. and then it will be over right in time for the travel softball to start there busy season.
This past weekend the boys spent the night with my parents and the girls, DH and I packed up the van headed 3 1/2 hours south and both girls played in there 1st of the season fastpitch tournament with there travel teams. Princess is now playing on a 14U team and Sweet Pea is now 8 years old playing on a 10U team. I'll be blogging more about this weekend with pictures later also..
Besides sports.. the kids are also busy with state testing at school this week.. learning the last of there Awana's verses Sunday is there last Awana's class for the year.. and working on there Awana's derby cars the derby is on May 2nd..
In other news I'm not sure if I have mentioned it here or not but ever since Sweet Pea had mono last year it seems that clothing hurts her.. she says things that are way to big and hanging on her are too tight and everything just bugs her, hurt her and makes her cry when she has to wear them.. After a year of crying everyday about this we are now working with a doctor to try to figure it out.. They did a ton of blood work and found that her Epstein-Barr numbers are till really high.. not high enough to call mono but still really high.. Not sure if this is what the trouble is or not I tend to think it goes hand and hand but her doctor doesn't agree with me. He thinks it is just a coincidences that this started happening at the same time as the Mono.. we are at a waiting point with this as her doctor is trying to help us find another doctor who might be able to help us with this... In any case Please keep Sweet Pea in your prayers.. the poor thing is in pain from her cloths.. and it breaks my heart because there is nothing I can do to help her.
Little Man will be turning 5 years old here in a month or so.. WOW 5 years old.. We got him all signed up for Pre-K for the upcoming fall.. He will be going 4 days a week.. that is going to seem weird seeing how his 4 year old preschool was only a 2 day program.. My baby is growing up..
This is where I'll end for the updates tonight because I'm subbing at one of the elementary schools tomorrow and I'm not in the swing of things getting all 4 kids off to school and myself dressed to work.. So I need to wake up a bit earlier.. Night all.
The goal for 2010 was a post a day and I'm already behind on that.. Stayed up way to late on Dec 31,09 to even remember to just get on and post Happy New Years on Jan 1, 2010.
So let me start by saying Happy New Years to all my one reader out there.. Hopefully in 2010 I can get my blog back up to where it was before I found facebook :-)

My poor poor blog... it has been forgotten..
But I do have soo soooooo soooooooooooooooooo much to post about.. I just need to find a minute or two where I can get over here and make a real post.
some of the stuff I am wanting to post about.. is Christmas shopping, Church Christmas party, The 2009 Christmas photo shoot of my kids in front of the fire place to get the perfect Christmas card photo.. and our trip to see Santa.
But with normal every day life stuff, and getting ready for Christmas and Christmas programs and candle lights services, and doing Christmas-ey sort of stuff with the kids each day.. this is all I have the time for at the moment..
but I will promise to come back and share more sometime this week..
I miss my blog and my blogging friends.
now it's off to bed.. Dentist appointment in the morning for me.. I DO NOT LIKE THE DENTIST.. and I'm having work done which I like even less.
