Last Thursday 13 of 2009
If I was on the ball and up to date with my blogging.. This would have been a good time to reflect on the past year.. But since I'm neither on the ball or up to date with my blogging today I give you my last 13 days.
#1 Dec 19,09.. This was Saturday.. I cleaned up some of the house and did some of the laundry While the girls were at softball practice.. I also baked cookies(like 12 dozen) then that evening my parents picked up the boys and one of Mr Man's friends and took them to spend the night a there place, Sweet Pea went to a friends birthday party not to be picked up till 9pm.. So I took Princess and her two friends out to take a picture with Santa and to the mall. After the Mall we picked up Sweet Pea, Came home ordered pizza and all the girls and I watched Twilight..Then Princess's friends went home and we went to bed.
#2 Dec 20, 09 Sunday.. This was t he Sunday DH had to work 14 hours.. It was also the Sunday of our Candle Light service and fellowship at Church.. DH had to miss it :-( but the kids all enjoyed it. That afternoon.. Princess had volleyball and had hurt her arm diving for a ball. the floors were waxed and when she dove she just kept sliding towards the pole so she threw her arm up over her head as to not hit her head but crashed her elbow into the pole.. but didn't tell me this happened until Monday.. so we will save the rest of the story.. Really we didn't do a whole lot this day except get ready for Christmas and eat about 6 dozen of the cookies I made the day before.
#3 Dec 21, 09 Monday.. this was a non stop busy day.. I had a to have dental work done but sat in the waiting room over an hour..UGH... by the time I got home.. it was time to pick Princess up from school...When I picked her up she was complaning about how much pain she was in and couldn't move her elbow.. Soooo... a call to my mom to watch Little Man and pick up the other two from school and then it was a trip to the ER for Princess and myself.. X-rays and a sling later they didn't find anything broken but wanted her not to move her elbow for a week.. I got home at 4:30PM with enough time to drop Princess off and grab Mr Man.. who had a 4:40pm Doctors appointment.. You see on the past Wed.. after school he went roller skating and fell on his wrist and fractured a bone in his right wrist.. this was the follow up appointment. by the time I got home it was after 6pm(I had left my house that day at 8:30am) I had enough time to throw dinner together and get DH out the door for work by 7:30pm Then I sat down for the 1st time ..but not for long because I had to get everything together for the kids Christmas parties at school the next day..
#4 Dec 22, 09 Tuesday got the kids off to school and then went with Little to his preschool for his Christmas party.. I was the parent helper in his class this day.. It was fun spending time with Little Man After school that day we came home and cleaned the house once again(funny how it always needs done) Then my parents came over to give the kids there BIG Christmas gift from them(Beatles rock bad for the wii) so they could get some use out of it before the younger 3 left for TX. We played that alot but at 9pm Sweet Pea and I plus two of Princesses friends went and saw New Moon(for my 3rd time LOL) Then the two girls spent the night
#5 Dec 23, 09 On Wed.. I woke up early and cooked a nice breakfast of bacon and eggs for my kids and princess friends.. Then Princess and friends were off to a Jr High wrestling tournament to cheer on there friends. While I cooked a big turkey dinner with all the trimmings.. Later that afternoon when it was done we had our family as in the 6 of us Christmas dinner here at home.. When done we picked up a friend for each kid and went and watched the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie... It was really good. That night I was childless for a few hours and I went out and picked up the very last Christmas gift I still needed to get. Then came home got the kids and stayed up till 1AM playing wii with them.
#6 Dec 24, 09 We slept till about 11 AM on Thursday and played with the Rock Band all morning and afternoon till it was time to get dressed to go to the IL's for DH's side of the family Christmas Party.. We had our traditional Christmas Eve pizza and UNO tournaments and opening of the gifts and cousins just hanging out together.. We got home about 11pm and the kids stayed up till 1am again playing with there Rock Band and the new Mario Bro winter sports they got at the Christmas eve party.. Then when they went to bed Santa came and I got to bed sometime after 2am.
#7 Dec 25, 09 Christmas Morning we woke up about 8:30am did our gifts at 9AM(once everyone had there eyes open) did that till about 11am then ate a nice breakfast and played with all the kids new stuff till 1:30am when we had to get dress to head over my Grandparents house for my side of the family Christmas party.. We ate a nice dinner, opened gifts, fellowship with the family played with new toys and left there about 7pm.. At which time I got home and started packing the 3 younger kids up so they could leave for TX at 5am the next morning.. after packing we played wii and did that till about 1 or 2am
#8 Dec 26, 09 Saturday I got a phone call about 4:45am from my dad letting me know they were on there way.. I woke the kids up at 5am and they where on there way to TX by5:30am.. I at that time went back to bed but I think the last I looked at the clock it was 6:45AM my alarm went off at 8:30AM Princess had a follow up appt for her elbow at 9:20AM that day. after that went to Sherries and then picked up a new shower curtain.. Came home scrubbed that bathroom hung the shower curtain and was so tired I went and took a nap waking up about 3:30pm. Then I cleaned the rest of the house and decided I needed a better valance in the bathroom also So I made another run got a valance and a new towel to hang up and stopped by taco bell(this was like 10 something PM) brought the food back home to DH, Princess and her friend J. played some Rock Band till 1am again then went to bed.
#9 Dec 27, 09 Sunday we woke up and went to church.. After Church Princess, J and I headed to a Mall an hour away to pick up Princesses Camp friend who lives in Chicago but was here in Ohio visiting family for Christmas.. C has spent the rest of the week with us..
#10 Dec 28, 09 Monday we took Princess and C to a water park they swam all day Monday, we went around looking at Christmas light on Monday night and that was about it..
#11 Dec 29,09 Tuesday a little more swimming and sight seeing and hit every mall between where we went and back home.. Then once home they played on the computer the rest of the night.
#12 Dec 30, 09 yesterday I drove back to that Mall an hour away so that Princess and C could meet up with alot more Camp friends where they hung out for hours.. and then C's mom meet up with us and C and Princess went back to C's aunt house to spend the night.. While DH and I went over to his parents house to help get her digital camera software loaded into her super slow slowest I have ever seen computer.. not sure if digital pictures are worth it with her old computer got home around 8pm ate a late dinner and watched a movie and went to bed.
#13 Dec 31, 09 Today the last day of the year... I'm getting some blogging time and then later today after Princess and C gets home... I'm going to have a house full of teenagers for a New Years Eve party... Yes I might have lost my mind but my other 3 kids are still in TX with my parents so now is a good time to let Princess invite a lot of people over where her little brothers and sisters won't be bugging them..
There ya have it my last 13 days..
