Spring Break 2010 post 9(Thursday 13 style)

Easter Sunday 2010 After finding Easter Baskets, after going to church, after the photo shoot, after our wonderful Easter Dinner, after feeding the ducks and hitting some stores and doing some walking.. AND after spending hours at the pool.. That Evening we hit THE TRACK.. We road go karts. Little Man rode some kiddie rides, and we putt putted.. For Putt Putt the friends Princess meet at the pool that afternoon joined us.. So she putt putted right behind us with there group.. while the younger 3, DH and I were in the group in front.. Here are the pictures from Easter Evening.

Thursday 13(spring break 2010 #5)

Continuing with my Spring Break 2010 post.. Still on Day 2.. To get caught up on the Spring Break saga.. you can read about Day 1 Here and here and The start of day 2 Here and Here.
This starts after Princesses 1st softball game in which she pitched a no hitter..
After that 1st game I took the younger 3 kids over to The Track to do there second Easter Egg hunt for the day..

The kids cleaned house at this hunt.. tons and tons of candy along with Free kiddie ride tickets, free go cart tickets and enough free putt putt tickets for the whole family to putt putt for Free... Got to love egg hunts like that.. We didn't use the tickets right away we hung on to them and used them later on in our vacation.. I'll be getting to that in a different post.
6) The Easter Bunny was there also.. I had to threaten the kids to get a picture with him LOL.. no one wanted to do it, but I'm a mean mom ;-)
After this we got lunch went to the room and ate it then headed back to the park for game 2 of Princess's softball tournament

Thursday 13(Mr Man's spring program 2010)

Here in our town our elementary school is K-4 grade in 5th grade the kids move up to the intermediate school which is all the 5th and 6th graders from our whole town then in 7th grade they move on up to the Jr High school and then in 9 move over to the high school. All that being said.. This is Mr Man's last year in elementary since he is a 4th grader.. Also in our elementary schools they do two programs a year.. Christmas and Spring.. The Christmas programs is put on by the 1st and 2nd graders only and the spring program by the 3rd and 4th graders only..
On March 30 Mr Man had his very last elementary program ever.. Today for my Thursday 13 Post I give you 13 pictures from that night.

#13

13 things I have to get done today

1)laundry.. I have about 3 more loads to do

2) get kitchen, dinning room, living room and bathroom clean I do not want to come home to a house that is so out of order as mine is right now.. the bedrooms being a mess at this point I can deal with.

3) go shopping for Easter basket stuff.. Easter is Sunday and we leave tonight so I MUST get that stuff together.

4) Mr Man and Sweet Pea needs bathing suits there's from last year doesn't fit anymore.

5) I need a pair of flip flops or sandals mine from last year broke and I don't think winter-ish looking clogs are going to cut it with shorts..

6) get all our Church cloths for Easter pressed and packed(yeah I know they won't stay pressed after packing)

7) pack EVERYTHING... i should have started this already but I have not packed one tiny thing yet for anyone.

8) Go to my IL's and pick up there SUV.. we are taking that in fear that my van will die along the way.

9) Get Little Man's Easter pants hemmed up.. Well taken down really we hemmed them earlier in the week only made them a tad too short.. so now we need to make them a bit longer..

10) OOPES.. almost forgot this one again.. I need to take Easter Cookies into Sweet Pea's Class before 12:30pm today for there Easter party.

11) Would be the normal everyday thing of pick Little Man up from school at 11:30pm fix him lunch, pick Princess up from school at 2:30pm and pick the other two up at 3:15pm get them home and feed them dinner

12) load up the SUV.. OH my goodness that should be fun(NOT) there is hardly any room in this thing.. I'm grateful about being able to use it, but even though parked next to my van it is the same size inside seems so small, no leg room for people in the back and no storage.. and we need to not only load our cloths and bathroom stuff, but also our church clothing for Easter, all the Easter Basket stuff AND.. a few camping chairs and Princesses Ball stuff for the softball tournament on Saturday. I have NO IDEA whatsoever how we are going to fit all that stuff into this thing.

13) try to get a few hours sleep and then leave to Gatlinburg in the wee hours on Friday morning..

So those are the things I'll be doing today.. Happy Thursday Y'all..

3) The kids got to open there Beatles Rock Band early before Christmas.. this was the very 1st go at it once we got it set up.. Little Man my rock star :-)



4) On New Years Eve while the younger kids were in TX at my sisters Princess had a NYE Party..





5)In January Little Man had his mother goose day at school.. He did Little Jack Hornor..




6)January 18, 2010 Princess had her 14th birthday but I lost the video of her blowing out the candles think it got deleted off the camera before making it to the computer :-(

7)January 29, 2010 Sweet Pea turned 8

before blowing out her candles.. well before the party started my sister called and she opened her gift from Aunt Pam..

9)Feb 13 & 14, 2010 was Princess 1st J.O.Volleyball tournament of the year.. here is a short video clip of one of her serves on the 14th.. We took 3rd place in this tournament.


10) How Princess kept herself busy between games on the 14th.



11)Princess isn't my only one who knows how to dance in a circle sort of cheer group.

12)Princess had her 2nd J.O. volleyball tournament on Feb 20,10 here are two clips of that.



13)Here are the last two clips from that tournament. We ended up winning this whole tournament returning home as the 1st place champs.

Thursday 13 (13 things from this week)

1) my kitchen floor is in need of new title.. so on Monday DH and I went out and started looking around to see what is out there and what I like. Think we will be laying a new kitchen floor, and fixing the back pouch roof with our income tax refund.
2) while out i got a little bit of fun sort of shopping done, well fun for me but it was stuff the kids and I needed.. Princess got a few new shirts and pants and a dress, Mr Man and Little man both got two shirts and they were matching.. I know I need help.. but I love when I can find a size 18 for Mr Man and a size 4/5 for Little Man and they match.. Love it.. and For sweet Pea she got a dress and two shirts.. finding cloths for that child is really a pain so I was happy she was willing to wear the stuff we found.
3) Tuesday was snack day for Little Man at preschool he wanted to take popcorn so that is what we did.. I stayed up Monday night filling 24 ziplock bags with popcorn..
4) Tuesday was also spring Picture day at the elementary school So before Mr Man and Sweet pea took off I snapped these pictures of them. 5) While loading the pictures I took into the computer, I found that Princess too has been playing with the camera her self.. here are a few pictures I found on the camera of her, which I didn't take.

LOL no Princess's name is not Shay.. this was a picture shout out she was giving to one of her friends.

6) raising a teenager can get a little tricky.. God has blessed me with a great Girl.. She makes raising her sort of easy.. She is a good student.. she doesn't get in any trouble.. and she is just a joy to be around.. but even the good ones still come with there teenage drama.. and there is drama going on at school and it leave me wondering if I even have a clue what I'm doing raising a teenager.. Thankfully.. God is in control and will guide me as a mother and help me each step of the way. Pray for me and Princess.
and in other Prayer request..
7)While growing up in the small town I did and going to the church I went to there was a family there who was like family to me.. There was an older couple there who I called Grandma and Grandpa C.. and there Son and his wife I called Mom and Dad(there daughter was my best friend) Our Pastor was married to this couples daughter(and there daughters were also my BFF's) and at one point in my teenage years two of this couples grandsons were sort of like my boyfriends but that is neither here or there.. the biggest relationship came from knowing them though my best friends and at church.. Grandma C. past away back in the summer of 1994 before I was even married. But Grandpa C. just past away this week, his funeral is going to be Saturday.. Please keep his family in your prayers..
8) And while we are making a prayer list.. another family I knew growing up and were friends with the children.. The mother who isn't really old early to mid 50's I would say.. ended up with some breathing problems and throwing up blood over this past weekend.. Ended up having the family all fly in and was put on life support. They put her into an induced comma and last I heard there was signs of improvement.. so we need to continue to pray for her and her recovery and her family.
9) I do not remember if I mentioned it or not here but I'm going to become an aunt again.. TO TWINS!!!!!, I found out this week that last week there was a little scare there wasn't alot of movement and they got worried so went in and they couldn't find twin A's(which is my nephew, twin B is my niece)heartbeat.. Thankfully after some moving around and looking for it, they found it.. I had that scare once while PG with Sweet Pea.. It was so so very scary not being able to find that heartbeat but the tears of joy that floods over you when they do find the heartbeat.. But sadly I also know what it is like when at the end they tell you we are sorry but there is no heartbeat and the baby didn't make it.. I love these two little babies with all my heart already.. and I pray that they continue to grow and be born completely healthy..
10) Bible Study.. Tonight I'm starting a new bible study I'll let you all know how that goes.. I'm looking forward to it..
11)This weekend Princess has her 3rd volleyball tournament of the year another bright and early weekend for me.. having to leave the house before 6am.. blah I don't do early mornings well.
12) Also this weekend Sweet Pea has her very 1st fastpitch softball game.. not a tournament just a scrimmage.. but it will be her travels team 1st time playing together(they have been practicing)and her very first time to play fastpitch.

13) Other stuff we are looking forward to for the weekend is Awana.. they are having all green day Sunday night.. the kids are trying to figure out there outfits.. Sweet Pea only has 20 more pages to finish up her book for the year and has been working really hard at learning all her verses she has it stuck in her mind that she wants to do all 20 of them this week.. I don't know if they will let her do that seeing how other kids will need to say there verses also.. but we will see.

Well there ya have it 13 things that have been going on or on my mind this week.
