One day it might happen.

Really it might happen.. One day I might just get back into the swing of thing and start blogging like I use to. In the mean time I'll give ya all a quick update
Over Easter we went on Vacation to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and Princess got picked up by a team out of Knoxville who was looking for a pitcher to play in a fastpitch tournament the Saturday of Easter. She pitched 4 full games that weekend and 2 of those games she pitched No Hitters.... WOW she was on a roll... I do plan to share a ton of pictures from that trip with you over the next few days.
The weekend after Easter Princess played in another one of her J.O. Volleyball tournament.. Did I mention she made a national/American team this year so the play is alot harder and stronger then we saw last year.. She has one more tournament and then the regional tournament left for J.O. and then it will be over right in time for the travel softball to start there busy season.
This past weekend the boys spent the night with my parents and the girls, DH and I packed up the van headed 3 1/2 hours south and both girls played in there 1st of the season fastpitch tournament with there travel teams. Princess is now playing on a 14U team and Sweet Pea is now 8 years old playing on a 10U team. I'll be blogging more about this weekend with pictures later also..
Besides sports.. the kids are also busy with state testing at school this week.. learning the last of there Awana's verses Sunday is there last Awana's class for the year.. and working on there Awana's derby cars the derby is on May 2nd..

In other news I'm not sure if I have mentioned it here or not but ever since Sweet Pea had mono last year it seems that clothing hurts her.. she says things that are way to big and hanging on her are too tight and everything just bugs her, hurt her and makes her cry when she has to wear them.. After a year of crying everyday about this we are now working with a doctor to try to figure it out.. They did a ton of blood work and found that her Epstein-Barr numbers are till really high.. not high enough to call mono but still really high.. Not sure if this is what the trouble is or not I tend to think it goes hand and hand but her doctor doesn't agree with me. He thinks it is just a coincidences that this started happening at the same time as the Mono.. we are at a waiting point with this as her doctor is trying to help us find another doctor who might be able to help us with this... In any case Please keep Sweet Pea in your prayers.. the poor thing is in pain from her cloths.. and it breaks my heart because there is nothing I can do to help her.

Little Man will be turning 5 years old here in a month or so.. WOW 5 years old.. We got him all signed up for Pre-K for the upcoming fall.. He will be going 4 days a week.. that is going to seem weird seeing how his 4 year old preschool was only a 2 day program.. My baby is growing up..

This is where I'll end for the updates tonight because I'm subbing at one of the elementary schools tomorrow and I'm not in the swing of things getting all 4 kids off to school and myself dressed to work.. So I need to wake up a bit earlier.. Night all.

Thursday 13 (13 things from this week)

1) my kitchen floor is in need of new title.. so on Monday DH and I went out and started looking around to see what is out there and what I like. Think we will be laying a new kitchen floor, and fixing the back pouch roof with our income tax refund.
2) while out i got a little bit of fun sort of shopping done, well fun for me but it was stuff the kids and I needed.. Princess got a few new shirts and pants and a dress, Mr Man and Little man both got two shirts and they were matching.. I know I need help.. but I love when I can find a size 18 for Mr Man and a size 4/5 for Little Man and they match.. Love it.. and For sweet Pea she got a dress and two shirts.. finding cloths for that child is really a pain so I was happy she was willing to wear the stuff we found.
3) Tuesday was snack day for Little Man at preschool he wanted to take popcorn so that is what we did.. I stayed up Monday night filling 24 ziplock bags with popcorn..
4) Tuesday was also spring Picture day at the elementary school So before Mr Man and Sweet pea took off I snapped these pictures of them. 5) While loading the pictures I took into the computer, I found that Princess too has been playing with the camera her self.. here are a few pictures I found on the camera of her, which I didn't take.

LOL no Princess's name is not Shay.. this was a picture shout out she was giving to one of her friends.

6) raising a teenager can get a little tricky.. God has blessed me with a great Girl.. She makes raising her sort of easy.. She is a good student.. she doesn't get in any trouble.. and she is just a joy to be around.. but even the good ones still come with there teenage drama.. and there is drama going on at school and it leave me wondering if I even have a clue what I'm doing raising a teenager.. Thankfully.. God is in control and will guide me as a mother and help me each step of the way. Pray for me and Princess.

7)While growing up in the small town I did and going to the church I went to there was a family there who was like family to me.. There was an older couple there who I called Grandma and Grandpa C.. and there Son and his wife I called Mom and Dad(there daughter was my best friend) Our Pastor was married to this couples daughter(and there daughters were also my BFF's) and at one point in my teenage years two of this couples grandsons were sort of like my boyfriends but that is neither here or there.. the biggest relationship came from knowing them though my best friends and at church.. Grandma C. past away back in the summer of 1994 before I was even married. But Grandpa C. just past away this week, his funeral is going to be Saturday.. Please keep his family in your prayers..
8) And while we are making a prayer list.. another family I knew growing up and were friends with the children.. The mother who isn't really old early to mid 50's I would say.. ended up with some breathing problems and throwing up blood over this past weekend.. Ended up having the family all fly in and was put on life support. They put her into an induced comma and last I heard there was signs of improvement.. so we need to continue to pray for her and her recovery and her family.
9) I do not remember if I mentioned it or not here but I'm going to become an aunt again.. TO TWINS!!!!!, I found out this week that last week there was a little scare there wasn't alot of movement and they got worried so went in and they couldn't find twin A's(which is my nephew, twin B is my niece)heartbeat.. Thankfully after some moving around and looking for it, they found it.. I had that scare once while PG with Sweet Pea.. It was so so very scary not being able to find that heartbeat but the tears of joy that floods over you when they do find the heartbeat.. But sadly I also know what it is like when at the end they tell you we are sorry but there is no heartbeat and the baby didn't make it.. I love these two little babies with all my heart already.. and I pray that they continue to grow and be born completely healthy..
10) Bible Study.. Tonight I'm starting a new bible study I'll let you all know how that goes.. I'm looking forward to it..
11)This weekend Princess has her 3rd volleyball tournament of the year another bright and early weekend for me.. having to leave the house before 6am.. blah I don't do early mornings well.
12) Also this weekend Sweet Pea has her very 1st fastpitch softball game.. not a tournament just a scrimmage.. but it will be her travels team 1st time playing together(they have been practicing)and her very first time to play fastpitch.

13) Other stuff we are looking forward to for the weekend is Awana.. they are having all green day Sunday night.. the kids are trying to figure out there outfits.. Sweet Pea only has 20 more pages to finish up her book for the year and has been working really hard at learning all her verses she has it stuck in her mind that she wants to do all 20 of them this week.. I don't know if they will let her do that seeing how other kids will need to say there verses also.. but we will see.

Well there ya have it 13 things that have been going on or on my mind this week.

Thursday 13 (random happinging in my life)

Thought I would toss together a T-13 post for the day. Just with a ton of random things that I haven't had time to blog about

1) Last night I had to go to a parents meeting FOR UPCOMING FRESHMAN!!!!!! when did Princess get so old... and how did she get so old while I stayed young LOL :-)

2) Earlier in the week I thought I was going to have two sick kids.. both Little Man and Sweet Pea seemed off, acting like they didn't feel well and said there tummies hurt but nothing came of it.. BUT today I have TWO sick kids home from school with upset tummies and vomiting... ONLY it isn't the two I thought was getting sick It's Princess and Mr Man..

3) My Grandpa says he is doing well after having this last stent put in, but he isn't back 100% he does what he needs to do though the day but he keeps getting really tired and still having some pain..

4) When the income tax money gets here I want to put a new roof on the back porch.. well I don't really want to I have to it is leaking.. :-(

What I want to do is put new carpet in the living room and new flooring in the kitchen and dinning room.

5) This weekend is a slow weekend for us, only thing going on besides the normal Sunday church stuff is that Princess and Sweet Pea has pictures on Saturday for there traveling softball teams.

6) Two weekends ago the boys stayed with my parents while the girls and DH and I went to Toledo for Princess's 1st travel(or they call it J.O.) volleyball tournament of the year, it was a two day tournament so we stayed the night there.. 12 teams playing.. Princess team took 3rd place(gold..if you know anything about these tournaments that will be something to you, if not they took 3rd place over all the teams) losing only to the 2nd and 1st place team.. Also if you know anything about J.O. volleyball Princess made a American team(use to be call the national team, which are harder teams to get on, only the best players make them on those teams, they travel more and they play harder competition)

7)Last weekend Princess's J.O. volleyball had a tournament in Parma which was an All American tournament(meaning only American teams) and we played our bottoms off(or they did) and we took 1st place in that.

8) Next tournament is another American tournament with 14 teams. that is next weekend.

9)Little Man is having some issues with the ABC's.. with his speech delay and all he is having a hard time with the sounds of the letters.. and his preschool teacher and his speech teachers both think it would do him good to do one more year of preschool before going to kindergarten.. Only problem is he is so ready in all other areas for kindergarten.. but since reading is such a big thing in K.. I'm sort of leaning towards another year of preschool.. but Have not made up my mind. We are working really hard at the moment on the letters and there sounds here at home.. while still working hard on his speech and occupational therapy stuff also.

10) Mr Man is going up.. 4th grade, 10 years old.. and has started liking girls. ~sigh~

11) DH's work seems to be going well, even getting a little over time. Last year this time he was laid off and they were talking of closing the plant..

12) Sweet Pea makes me nuts.. she has issues with things touching her skin.. I don't have a clue what is up with that.. but she wants all her cloths big and baggy other wise she complains they are too tight.. in reality she fits into a size 7 perfectly.. but she won't wear a 7 she wants the 8's so they "aren't tight" and socks and shoes... oh don't get me started.. she hates socks they are all to tights.. she will only wear them inside out so the stitching on the toes don't touch her and they have to be thin and smooth or she will cry for hours.. I went and got her winter crocks and she loves them to wear but on days she has to wear any other shoes(for gym or whatnot) she gives me fits and pretty much loses the laces so much they aren't doing any good. I gave up on dress shoes isn't worth the fight.. she just wears her crocks with dresses and skirts.. that is if it isn't' too cold other wise I just let her wear pants to church since there is no way I can get her into tights or nylons ~sigh~ she looks like no one knows how to dress this poor child.. but I'm done with battling over this with her.. she wins. I hope and pray this is just a phase.. and nothing more.. but I had a nurse mentions maybe she has sensory issues I know nothing about such things.. maybe I should look into it.

13) starting next week, I'll be doing a new Bible study with a group of ladies here in town.. I'm looking forward to it.. but the time of it isn't working that great.. it goes from 6 to 8.. but I can only stay till 7pm I don't know how well that is going to work.. but I'm going to give it a shot and see how it works.. I hope it's doable..

First post of 2010

The goal for 2010 was a post a day and I'm already behind on that.. Stayed up way to late on Dec 31,09 to even remember to just get on and post Happy New Years on Jan 1, 2010.
So let me start by saying Happy New Years to all my one reader out there.. Hopefully in 2010 I can get my blog back up to where it was before I found facebook :-)
Thursday when I posted I gave you what I had been up to the past 13 days.. Today I"m going to post the pictures from #2 and #4 of those 13 ... If you had missed that post you can go view it here
Sunday December 20,09 Candle light service and dessert fellowship at church.

Tuesday December 22, 09 the day I worked as the parent helper in Little Man's preschool for there Christmas party.

I'm sure I mentioned that my younger three are in TX.. They left here on December 26,09. Please keep them and my parents in your prayers as they left today to drive those 20 some hours back home.. I'm starting to miss my babies.. but Princess and her friends have kept me so busy that it really hasn't seemed like they been gone very long.
Thinking out loud here I don't know what sort of blogging meme's I'll end up doing in 2010.. but I think I'm going to stick to the two that I have been trying to do here at my blog.. On Sunday will be Then Sings my Soul.. I started that one because it seems some song always sticks with me and touches my heart on Sunday morning during Church so I just started typing them out when I got home.. feel free to join along it doesn't have to be something from that Sunday just a song that touched your heart that you want to share.. Though chances are this post of mine won't get up till Sunday afternoon.. just in case your wondering.. Then I think I'll keep doing my From Gods Word Friday.. I enjoys those ones.. I just use whatever verses God lays on my heart at the moment.. Most the time they come from one of the days Bible reading from the week, but at other times God just places a verse in my mind and heart and I just post it.. Your all invited to join along in that also, if God lays something on you heart post it and then come back and comment so I know to go read it.. I don't think I'll use Mr Linky on these unless we start having a lot of people join in .
Other wise I just hope to get you all caught up with my life and pictures and what is going on.. and then hopefully stay caught up.. AND!!!!! get back to stopping by and reading your blogs.. been missing my blogging friends :-)

Random thoughts. #1 (nerf darts)

Both of my boys and even the girls LOVE the Nerf guns that shoot darts. we must have 5 or 6 different sort of Nerf guns.. but we lose the dart daily. Seeing how we lose them all the time I think we are down to only about 25 darts. BUT on any given day you can walk though any room in my house kitchen,bathroom living room it doesn't matter bedrooms if you look close enough you will find at least one Nerf dart on the floor.

and as much as my kids love the Nerf dart guns.. I just can't see them enjoying THIS
sure yea they would have fun playing it on the wii for a bit..but really where is the fun LOL
I think the greatest joy they get out of the Nerf guns are running though the house shooting Nerf dart things at each other(yes we do have the Nerf dart tag stuff but they normally don't bother with the vest and glasses)

I mean with Nerf wii you can't do a surprise attack at your dad when he isn't looking, or shooting the cat in the butt when it is sleeping, you lose all that joy.

I have no point to this point, just thought I would type out the thoughts that ran though my head a bit ago when I saw the add on tv.
