Happy Easter!!!!!!!

blogging from the road, we are now 1/2 ways to my sisters house should be getting there tomorrow by dinner time.
Just wanted to take a moment and wish all my blogging friends a very Happy Easter..

Matthew 28:1-8
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

Faith-Lift Friday(Good Friday 08)

Matthew 27:11-66
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly. 15 Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.
17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.
19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.
21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.
22 Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
23 And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.
24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.
28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
29 And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, 34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
36 And sitting down they watched him there;
37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.
39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,
42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.
44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.
45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.
48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.
49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.
50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children.
57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:
58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.
61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre.
62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.
64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.
65 Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can.
66 So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

Throwback Thursday(last easter)

I'm not throwing it back to far in the past this week.. ONLY a year.. I forgot to add these two pictures into our slide show I posted yesterday, of Easter last year.
These pictures have a story to them.. I never sat out to get the kids picture with the Easter bunny. as you can tell by the play cloths, the messing hair and the blurry pictures. It was Saturday of the weekend of Easter last year.. We were on vacation in TN. We took the kids to an Easter egg hunt and then spent the biggest part of the day sight seeing. I needed to hit the Walmart to get stuff for Easter baskets, so off to walmart we went. DH took the middle two kids with him so I could get the stuff the Easter bunny needed. Princess went with me because well she was 11 and well past the Easter bunny years and Little Man wasn't even 2 yet so I figured he wouldn't have a clue that the stuff I was putting into my cart would end up being the stuff in his basket the next morning.. I see the Easter bunny sitting there in the middle of walmart and I wanted to get Little Man's pic with the fluffy white rabbit.. ONLY as you can tell from the pic he wanted no part of it.. So Princess said she would hold him for the pic. I didn't have a camera on me so I snapped this shot with my cell phone.
After I took it I went to find DH so I could get the other two kids and go get there picture with the bunny also. ONLY before I could get a word out of my mouth DH said Look what I got.. and he shows me his cell phone and there was the 2nd picture I posted today of Mr Man and Sweet Pea with the bunny... great minds and all NO??
Well that is my throwback for today..
You all have a Wonderful Easter.

Time Travel Tuesday(smells)

Time Travel Tuesday Smells.. LOL.. well no not really Time Travel Tuesday as far as I know doesn't have a scent.. But this week our wonderful host Annie wants us to visit the scents that take us back in time.. here is what she said.

A couple of weeks ago I actually forgot to do a time travel for Tuesday… I mentioned that I would be open to suggestions…
So, today we are going to take one of those suggestions.
Jenny said,
” A smell that brings you back? (I know that when I put on Jergens’ lotion I am brought back to a little girl watching my mom put lotion on her hands)” Thanks for the suggestion Jenny!
So how about it? Any smells that take you back to a different time and place?
Smell is a very powerful thing.. It can trigger alot of different feeling and emotions and it often takes me back to different places, reminds me of different people, and makes me feel different things. Jenny mentioned the Jergens' lotion.. that triggers a memory for me every time I smell it.. It takes me back to when I was 9 years old and away at church sleep over camp.. My counselor that week used it often.. and I loved the way the cabin would smell when she was putting it on. At the time I didn't know it was Jergen's lotion I just remember that cherry almond smell.. A few years ago I needed some lotion and ran to the store and just grabbed something that wasn't too expensive and I happened to grab Jergens got home and used it and Could remember being in that cabin as a little girl thinking how wonderful it smelt. Next smell that takes me back in time and brings back good memories is the scent of the Olay night cream.. My Grandma(dad's mom) wouldn't go to bed at night without doing up her face and our(me and my sister when we spent the night there) Every time I use the stuff now it takes me back to being a little girl spending the night with grandma. Another smell that takes me back in time is still one of my favorite smells today.. Estee Lauders Beautiful. Another thing about my grandma(dad's mom) is she always wore perfume and as a little kid if I was to hug her or sit on her lap I would walk away smelling like grandma also.. I loved that and as a pre-teen wanted to smell not like grandma, but wanted to have my "own" smell also that when I was babysitting the kids sitting in my lap would remember that smell or that when my friends smelt that smell they would say.. OH that is what KC smells like.. WOW was i weird back then, LOL maybe I'm still weird.. My Grandma(dad's mom) bought me Beautiful one year when we were out shopping, I fell in love with it and it became "MY" perfume.. the one I wore daily and everyone of my friends knew what I wore and what my favorite perfume was.. I was about 12 when grandma bought it for me.. and I wore the same perfume on my wedding day.. Sadly I don't think I have bought any since Sweet pea was born 6 years ago.. Funny that is also when I became a full time stay at home mom. Guess I just spend the money on the kids now.. but it is worth it to be home with my babies.

Lets move on here.. to a smell that takes me back to when I was 1st dating DH. It was what DH wore all the time while we were dating.. About a month after I started dating DH I was going away on a French club trip for a week with the school.. DH bought me a Teddy Bear and sprayed it down with this so I could remember him on my trip The combo of Brut and Right Guard mixed with mom's perfume which I'm drawling a blank on the name.. reminds me of going to church every Sunday morning.. putting this stuff on would be the last thing they did before all of us jumping in the car... OH the headaches I would get on the way to church with the 5 of us all having our own sent..The last scent I'll share with you all today is Herbal Essences. Back in 1995 I tried this shampoo.. I honestly can't remember what it did for my hair if I liked it or not.. All I remember is my parents took me and my sister on a vacation in Florida that summer. DH had to work and wanted to save his vacation time for the next month when we were going to TN. So it was just my parents and my sister. I kept feeling tired on the whole way down there, and my tummy kept feeling funny. But I was still going to have fun darn-it.. I was on the beach in Florida.. so I would go into the ocean, and feel sick, Lay on the beach and feel sick, swim in the pool and feel sick.. and almost feel like I was going to lose it every time I ate something.. Well as bad as all of that was.. It was nothing like what I felt every time I took a shower.. the minute I would open up my shampoo this Herbal Essences stuff I would feel so sick and end up losing everything I ate.. After 2 days.. It didn't matter if I was using it or if my mom or sister was in the hotel shower using it and i was laying on the bed.. as soon as I spelt that smell I was running to the bathroom or the nearest trash can and vomiting my guts out.. A week later after getting home from Florida I found out I was 8 weeks along with Princess.. Still to this day the smell from Herbal Essences shampoo brings on a gagging effect for me. Now a day they make a ton of Herbal Essences shampoo.. I know this because Princess now 12 years old bought home a few different kinds.. one to make her hair curly one to make it lay flat and so on.. the purple and green bottles of the stuff I can use and nothing.. but the pink bottle has the same smell as the stuff I used while PG with her that sent me knelt down to the porcelain god for months and months and months Still to this day brings back a ton of those memories and makes me feel ill.
I could go on forever about scents that takes me back in time.. but I'll end this for today..
To visit others who are time traveling today or to play along, head on over to Annie's blog
You all have a wonderful Tuesday.
OH yeah.. scroll down or click HERE to make your guess in the movie quote meme.. there are still a few movies needing to be guessed at.. I'll post the answers tonight.

Movie Meme part 2

I am having so much fun with the Movie Meme I posted as part of my Meme Monday(3/17/08) post.
I had planned to come back and give the answers tonight.. but I think I'm going to give you all more time to see if anyone can figure them out.. Maybe tomorrow night I'll share what movies they are from.. but thought I would give you a few more hints..

First if you haven't seen the Meme you can find it by clicking HERE.

Now for some hints.

#1 Is not Dirty Dancing like Lauren guessed, and It is not The Rose like Cricket hearth guessed.. It does have singing and dancing in it. and the new hint is the quote came from the beginning of the movie. and the movie came out in 1978 I saw it with my parents as a kid when it 1st came out and loved it and it has been one of my all time favorites since.

#2 is part of a trinity of a movie.. The 1st movie of this came out in 2003 but I thought it didn't look like a movie I would want to see so I didn't watch it till it was on TV in 2006 right before the 2nd part of the movie came out. The quote came from the 2nd movie.. The 3rd part of this movie came out This past summer and I saw it at the drive in this summer 3 times.. We now own all 3 of these movies on DVD and they are part of my oldest sons favorite movies..

#3 was a movie that came out in 2003 I guess it would be kids movie more then an adult movie but it is still on of my favorites OH and another hint would be it is a remake of a 1976 movie.

#4 was answered by Kristi and the movie was Sweet Home Alabama I could watch this movie over and over..

#5 was answered by Lauren and the movie was Legally blond.. I like both the Legally blond movies.. I use to have them both on DVD until someone left the 1st one on the floor and I stepped on it and broke it.

#6 is a Classic.. came out in 1939 and based on a Novel. I could give a hint but it wouldn't be really fear to those of you who don't know my kids real name so only those bloggers who know me in real life would get it.. so I guess that is all the hinting I'll give you on that one.

#7 Heather guessed right It is Ella Enchanted.. LOVE this movie it is so funny.. I think Princess and Sweet Pea are sick of me saying "hey lets what Ella Enchanted" Princess also had to read the book a few months ago because it was the book she was going to have to be quized over for her Quiz bowl match with her academic challenge team.

#8 The next one is also put of a trilogy from the late 70's early 80's the 1st one came out in 1977, the 2nd one in 1980 and the 3rd one in 1983 The quote came from the 2nd movie the 1980 one. Here is a big hint that should give this one away.. They came out with a 2nd trilogy for this movie the 1st one came out in 1999, the 2nd in 2002 and the 3rd in 2005 and I'm a big fan of all 6 of them.

#9 is a very long heart touching story that still leaves me in tears every time I watch it. It was a big block buster.. DH took me to see this movie twice when it came out in 1997 and then bought it for me when it went on sale. another hint there is lots of water.

#10 is part of a comedy trilogy.. 1st one came out in 1997, 2nd one in 1999 and the 3rd in 2002. The quote is from the 2nd one.

NOW head over to HERE.. look at those quotes and keep those guesses coming.. Tuesday night before I go to bed.. I'll post the answers. So look for them late Tuesday night or on Wednesday morning..

Meme Monday(3/17/08)

This fun Award was created by Chuck over at Foster Me Up, and passed along this way by Jen at Tidbits of the Tippets
Jen was passing it along to anyone who comments on her blog.. I'm going to do the same. If you leave me a comment any time this week.. Feel free to grab the Eggs as a thank you for commenting and a way to wish you a Happy Easter.. Enjoy.

I saw this movie meme the other day at Baseballs and Bows. It looked like fun, so I thought I would try it.

Here are the rules:

1. Pick 10 of your favorite movies.

2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.

3. Post them here for everyone to guess (if you know them all, please don't guess every one)

4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.

5. No Googling or IMDb-ing. That's cheating, and that's no fun! Here are my quotes:

(since I don't have a clue how to strike something out I'll change the color, if anyone wants to share with me how to strike stuff out that would be wonderful also. )

Here are my quotes.

1) But it's true! I've just had the best summer of my life, and now I have to go away. It isn't fair
This one was guessed by Jean at Working Momma 247 It is one of my all time favorite movies Grease.

2) No. If we don't have the key, we can't open whatever it is we don't have that it unlocks. So what purpose would be served in finding whatever need be unlocked, which we don't have, without first having found the key what unlocks it? Guessed by elaine a over at The Miss Elaine-ous Life
The Movie is Pirates of the Caribean she guessed #3 but it is #2 but close enough.
3) Root canal? That's not fair, they're not my teeth. Guessed by Deb at Mom Of 3 Girls The movie is Freaky Friday.

4) There is nothing wrong with poor people. I get elected by poor people.
Guessed by Lauran at Baseballs and Bows
The movie is Sweet Home Alabama

5) She could use some mascara and some serious highlights, but she's not completely unfortunate looking. Guessed by Kristi at Music Mom of 2

The movie is Legally Blond.

6) Great balls of fire. Don't bother me anymore, and don't call me sugar. This was also guessed by Elaine The movie is Gone With The Wind

7) These last few days have been so perfect. Except for the bit where we almost got eaten by ogres. And you wrote a letter that ripped out my heart. And I had to dance with Hattie. Guessed by Heather at 10,000 Things to be Happy The Movie is Ella Enchanted.

8) Your mind powers will not work on me boy. Guessed by Courtney at Life with two beautiful Girls! The Movie is Star Wars (Empire Strikes back)

9) : No, let me try and get this out. You're ama- I'm not an idiot, I know how the world works. I've got ten bucks in my pocket, I have no-nothing to offer you and I know that. I understand. But I'm too involved now. You jump, I jump remember? I can't turn away without knowing you'll be all right... That's all I want. Also guessed by Courtney The Movie is Titanic.

10) Move over, Rover. This chick is taking over.

Weekend Recap(March 14-16)

Each week you fine folks have been reading about what my family and I have done over the weekend, I would love to read about how you all spent your weekend also.. So Play along. Either tell me about your weekend in my comment section or write your own post at your blog and link up over hear so we all can come by and read it.
I had a different sort of weekend, as in I didn't go to a single sporting event the whole weekend.. if you have been keeping up with my Weekend Recaps you know this is something new for me. LOL
Friday night we had a family celebration, to celebrate my mom birthday and my Grandma's birthday.. Grandma will be turning 75 on Friday, but we all are leaving to head down to TX that day, so Friday night my parents, my uncle, my grandparents all went out to dinner together.(everyone except DH and Princess because Princess had ball practices)
After dinner my parents came back to my place because the boys were going to spend the night with them.. After they left Sweet Pea and I went on an Easter shoe hunt.. A what you ask.. an Easter shoe hunt.. You know where you go store to store trying to find a pair of nice church shoes that your 6 year old not only likes but that the store has in her size.. OH what a hard hunt that was..
You see Thursday I found a pair I knew she would love at Kohl's so I picked them up for her in the size her foot last measured at a size 13. Got home tried them on her and they are way too big. So went back to Kohl's Friday night and they didn't have a 12 only 11's and they were too small.. So we hit about 5 other stores and she didn't see anything she liked as much as the ones I had picked up for her.. She did find a pair she said would be OK but sadly they didn't have a size that fit her either.. So we gave up and went home.

Saturday morning the High School drama club was having a Beauty and the Beast pancake breakfast and at it they had all the drama club in there costumes and was doing pictures with the kids.. For $5 they were also doing Princess hair styles for the girls. Sweet Pea wanted to do this.. I was hoping to get a picture with her and Belle but she was having NO part in standing with anyone for mom to take a picture..(remember she is the shy one) But she was all for having her hair done like a princess. The salt shaker was the one who got to do Sweet Pea's hair. After we left there we hit all the stores in our hunt for Easter shoes. Yes I know most of you hunt Easter Eggs, but we were hunting Easter shoes. Couldn't find anything that she liked.. So we tossed up our hands and went and got ice cream. While the two of us were doing all of this, my dad had my boys and he took them to his barber and the 3 of them got here hair cut so they will look sharp for Easter. Also during this time Princess and DH thought they would help me out by doing the grocery shopping for the week..
Back to me and Sweet Pea we got home with full bellies from ice cream.. and helped put the groceries away and then I made lunch.. OOPES lunch.. I knew that ice cream wasn't the best idea but it was tasty:) After lunch I got Princess dressed and all packed up and her and DH was out the door at 2pm.. She was heading off to her softball game and right from there to Chuck E Cheeses for her friend SF 12 birthday party. DH meet up with the group for the party and dropped Princess off and got back to town about 7pm.
After they left at 2pm Sweet Pea and I got ourselves dressed and ready for a fun evening. ONLY Sweet Pea wasn't liking the princess hair style she got in the morning, guess it wasn't "Princessey" for her, so she wanted me to do her hair up like a princess. Here is how we did. After getting her all dolled up I got dress and we waited for my parents to show up. Mom and Dad was able to get 4 tickets to a Passion Play called The Road to the Cross. The play was being put on by a church in the town that my Dad grew up in an hour away from our place.. So dad and mom was dropping the boys off at my grandparents house where they would wait for DH to pick them up and then picking me and Sweet Pea up. Here is a shot of me and Sweet Pea waiting for them. Not a bad picture for me holding the camera out in front of us and taking a self photo LOL. My Parents got to my house about 4pm and off we went.. the play was really good. I always seem to cry when they are hanging Jesus on the tree.. Even when I know the end of the story, I just can't help it.. Here are some pictures of Sweet Pea with my mom and dad while waiting for the play to start. I was going to get a few video clips from the play but Sweet Pea ended up in my lap and I didn't get any pictures or clips except this one

After the play we continued our Easter Shoe hunt. We headed over to the Kohl's in that area got there 30 minutes before closing and THANKFULLY they had the size 12 in the shoes that she loved.. Easter Shoe Hunt over.. !!!!!!!
Then about 9pm we headed over to Eat & Park and had dinner.. We got home about 10:30pm
I walked into my living room to find DH and Little Man sleeping on the middle of the floor it was so cute.
Sunday was a normal Sunday with church in the morning a peaceful(well except the kids fighting over toys) afternoon at home then Awanas/church at night. It was school sprit night at Awana's and Mr Man was a little disappoint that his crazy blue and yellow outfit didn't win(man I should have took pictures of them all decked out but I was running behind and had no time to grab the camera) But Sweet Pea was way too excited seeing how she was the one that did win the prize. Sweet Pea had a good night at awanas.. said all her verses and not only did she win the school sprit award she also won in the dodge ball match, another thing that Mr Man was bummed about. Before putting the boys to bed Sunday night I combed there hair(which neither of them was too happy about LOL) so I could take a picture of there new hair cuts to blog about LOL.Mr Man and his new cut at the top and Little Man with his at the bottom
When I was loading the boys pictures off the camera I found these two self shots of Princess.. She must have been messing with the camera on the way to church Sunday night(see I took the camera with me to get there crazy outfits but ran out of time and got there late) But since she went out her way to take these shots of herself.. I figure I should blog them also.. So here is Princess.
This my friends was my weekend.. I hope you all had a great weekend also and don't forget to tell me about it.

Know & Tell Friday (3/14/08)

Question 1 What can you draw well? OH my goodness.. I don' draw.. My 8 year old can draw better then me.. I might even go as far as saying my 6 year old can.. My 12 year old does 100% better then me.. I think I'm at the same level as my 2 year old.

Question 2Name a TV show (at any period in your life) that you watched that you were probably a little too old to watch. I was a big 90210 fan but then I was in high school when it came one, 2 years ahead of what they had the kids being. But I found myself still watching it after I was married and was a mommy. Same with Buffy(which looking back I don't think was that great for me to be watching anyways) Now I like a lot of the shows my kids watch such as Suit life of Zack and Cody, Drake and Josh, and Hannah Montana.

Question 3 What color is the dominant color of your wardrobe? Black with some white thrown in also ;) I like color.. but when spending money I always seem to go for something I know will last years and years and not go out of style color wise... PLUS I just like Black

Question 4 Favorite donut? Bavarian filled but I do enjoy a Krispy Kreme donut when the HOT light is on.. Thankfully for my waist line there is no Krispy Kreme any where around me.

Question 5 Wear painful shoes just because they are cute? Use to all the time, until I messed up my feet and needed surgery because I was always wearing pointy toe dress shoes as a teenager.. Now I will from time to time but not every day.

Bonus Questions
Question 6 Is there anything that you believe you do not believe God about? NO.. and I just don't say that to sound good.. I believe God will always do what He says.. Do I always remember to trust that all the time.. No.. but at the end of the day I do know in my heart that God will always do what he says. and He will always remind me of that too.. Read my Faith-Lift Friday post HERE

Question 7 In general, do you think it is ok to be frustrated with people? Do I want to be Frustrated with people, No.. but is it a sin to be NO it's not either.. Not to forgive people is not a good thing.. and you need to try to not be frustrated with people.. and you can't let it consume you and take up all your thoughts and let it run your life.. But we are not commanded to live peaceably with all men, What God tells us is, That if it be possible, and if it is with in us... to live peaceably with all men... We should try to.. but there are just going to be those we come in contact with that it will just be imposable for one reason or another.

Romans. 12:12-21
12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

The way God works in my life, His timing, His Love.. It just all amazes me.. I know He works in our life, I know he has a plan for us and He works that Plan in His Time.. but every time I see God working in my life, I still just have to take a deep breath and stand in amazement, of What a wonderful All powerful, All Knowing God we have. God is so good.
I was gone this evening out with my oldest and my grandmother, We didn't get home till late(well late for a mom with young children on a school night LOL) As I walked in the door my thoughts were on getting DH off to work, the kids to bed and then What will I write on my blog for my Faith-Lift Friday post.. Normally though my weekly Bible reading God will lay a verse or something on my heart to share.. and this week I just never had anything jump out at me, well not anything that I felt lead to post for the Faith-Lift post. Then my thoughts went right back to getting DH up and out the door because I was late we were rushing around.. He went and got the mails.. bills, bills bills and more bills..
In the last week it seemed that the stress of this life had just been adding up.. Starting last Thursday when DH company did a big layoff and told the workers that was still there that come June if things don't pick up they will have to lay off more people and go down to 2 shifts instead of 3. That alone is enough to stress a person.. Then Add to that the fact that gas went up again and it is costing about $120 a week in gas just for DH to make it to work.. DH said to me.. if Gas hits $4 or more I just don't know what we are going to do..
After he left for work I sat down with that stack of bills that just came out of our mailbox mixed in there was a envelope card shaped and sort of thick. I saw who it was from, a older lady who was friends with DH's grandmother when she was alive, and who attends church with my IL's. Not that I was trying to be rude but I tossed it aside, I didn't have time to sit and read a big thick letter at that moment.. I had to figure out where to get the money to pay all these bills steering me in the face. I open up one after the other.. so much here so much there..
Things have been really tight since DH was sick and off work without pay for those 2 months back in the fall . Sure we got our income tax check in, but by the time we paid back the people who so lovingly loaned us money to live on those 2 months and got caught up on the things we let get behind during that time and the oldest need braces(no really she does and they are getting put on April 1) That check is gone and then some. So I sat there feeling a bit sick about all of these things.. I opened the last bill and sorted them all out.. and there sat this letter..
Feeling sort of down, I picked up the letter on the back of the envelope was written. "Those Who Let God Provide Be Satisfied" I opened it up and there was a card along with a letter. The card read on the front "You're on my heart...." Inside "And in my prayers." with Romans 15:13 printed at the bottom. " Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost."
Hand written inside was written this " Special to Jesus, Special to me. You will be provided for-Why? God Knows your needs. His timing always right and on time. He has a future for you two. Love Sis. Marge + Br. Don"
That alone was enough to make me stop and turn this all over to God.. It just touched my heart so much.. But I still hadn't read the letter so I unfolded the 4 pages and was blessed even more.. So much so that God laid it on my heart to share this letter with all of you tonight.(or early Friday morning as the case maybe)
Here is the letter.
She had her good morning greeting to me and DH and then went on to say
"Before my day is started God is telling me to sit down and drop in to chat with you two. The Lord has made this day "Give us this day-our Daily (food) Bread". God always provides for our needs. We all sometimes get all involved in this 21st Century of Provisions. God Knows our needs & He even supplies MORE!! As Bible says the Righteous will never be forsaken- His Promises are sure & un removable! All we need to do is put our faith into Action- feet to our faith. He Saved us , now it is up to us to be Obedient to Him. When we aren't obedient our faith is, dead faith, in any Spiritual area. Some Don't Read there Bibles, don't pray(enough) Saved and don't come forward or don't even attend church- How Sad!
Sometimes Satan works in so many ways, He will get you depressed, anxious, worried. Anyways Except Peace, Joy, contentment. We are to look to Him. one day at a time!! Remember the birds, the flowers, Ever read about the Ravens...
We are to trust God, His Kingdom, His Righteousness, Nothing is about us!!! It's all about me, some think today. "Me-centric" me me me self. He feed the sparrows can't he feed and give us our needs. YES!!!!
He works in many ways to get to those in need. Sent one widow woman one time to feed those in need. Sent ravens with food, People can be the Ravens He sends :)
We all need to trust God!! Walmart, Target Fords, can't give us our provisions, can't give us contentment.. God says "be anxious for nothing" Why should we even start to worry about tomorrow.. He is already There!! He already knows yours needs :) :) He will Provide.. You two can't see the future.. HE Knows the Past, present, future!! Thank you Lord :) He knows exactly what you need! We all have trials in this life on earth. Why do we? Because He wants our attention. He provides, He heals because of the Glory He wants us to give Him. To Thank Him :)
Why Me? some will say, Well why not me? Who do we think we are. Look at Jesus's life(He did for you as if you were only one) and look at all the apostiles, what they went through and what did they say? "Count it all Joy"
God wants us to Obey Him, He has to be #1 in our life. People die, we can't find happiness in man, Happiness is in the Lord :)
When we worry show we are not trusting in HIM, because if we were we wouldn't be worrying! Faith and worry do not go together.
It really takes being committed to God and his Written Word. Reading and not applying it doesn't do any good.......
When one belongs to Him, we don't need to help Him do His Job. He will take care of us, correct us, keep us, "saved"
We each have a job to do as His children. Be thankful we can. .....
At this point of the letter she goes on talking about the kids and DH and the IL's and attached a gift card to Cracker Barrel for DH and I to go out and leave the kids with Grandma(my IL's is who she was referring to.)
Talk about TIMING... There are no accidents in the life of a Christian.. God plans it all.. We haven't seen or talked to this dear lady since September when DH was in the hospital and she came to visit.. She didn't know what was going on in our lives.. She just knew what God had laid on her heart to write to us that day.. and She didn't know it would get to me the same day as a pile of bills and didn't know I would open and read it when I did.. BUT GOD DID...
so I say thank you not only to this lady for her obedience to God, but to my wonderful loving Lord and Savior Jesus.. I love you so much Dear Lord.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

It's party week... Are you ready to party??? You can find MY PARTY POST HERE.

This week I thought I would break out the old photo albums and look for some old Easter Pictures.. I couldn't find all of my photos.. I wonder where they went too, but here are a few of the ones I did come across.

These 1st two are from Easter 1997. It was Princess's 2nd Easter she was 14 1/2 months old.

Here she is after church on palm Sunday. She is in her spring church coat.. I just loved that coat and I'm a sucker for a baby girl in a bonnet.
This one was taken Easter Sunday, not only after church but also after lunch at my dad parents house and an hour drive to my mom's parents house. It was taken in my Grandma's dinning room. The Little boy in the picture is my cousin's son.

The Next two shots are a year later Easter 1998 Princess was 2 years old, This was taken in my Grandma's(mom's mom) backyardThis is Princess with my Grandma. I really miss going to grandma's for holidays, almost as much as I miss my grandma and grandpa.
