I'm really not being very good at keeping up with my blog posting and reading though out the week and for that I'm sorry.. but it's summer and I'm busy and life comes first.. Right, I mean if I wasn't out living life what would I have to post about anyways LOL..

This weekend Friday started off slow... Princess had spent the night with a friend Thursday night so she was gone all Friday morning, DH had worked Thursday night so he was in bed sleeping Friday morning... So that left me and the 3 younger kids.. They played outside a bit and got board.. Mr Man came in the house and I heard the water running in the kitchen so I just yelled to him, "what are you doing" he responded "I have nothing to do so I'm washing the dishes" WOW ok my 9 year old son is doing my dishes and I didn't even ask him too.. I didn't want to mess with his program so I stayed out of the kitchen.. I saw when he dried them all and placed them all on the dinning room table because he didn't know where they went and once he was done I put them away.. He made me so happy.. While he was doing that Sweet Pea and Little Man came in the house.. and I hear Sweet Pea whining "awwwwwwwww that's no fair why does he get to do the dishes and we don't get to do anything" Well Ok you want something to do.. I got some cleaning stuff out and put Sweet Pea and Mr Man in the bathroom where I set them up to scrub the toilet and the bathtub.. LOL I tell ya they thought it was better then an amusement park the way they were acting all excited about cleaning the bathroom LOL..

One drawl back I found later in the evening was that on Thursday I had a brand new never open, never used bottle of dish soap, which should have lasted me forever since we have a dishwasher, but Mr Man washed the dishes by hand and I wasn't thinking to share with him how to use the dish soap correctly, he has ever only see me use it if I needed something quickly that was dirty so I would just put a tad on that plate or whatever and wash it that way.. So that is what he did with every thing.. and this is what my brand new bottle of dish soap looked like when he was done.

Friday late afternoon, Princess was home and DH woke up.. DH took princess out to the softball field and warmed her up with pitching and such.. She was going to play in her 1st softball game Friday night since breaking her toe and she hadn't touched a ball or glove or bat in that whole time.. When they got back DH took Mr Man over to the baseball field and worked with him also.. When they came home we had an early dinner and by 5:30pm we were all off running for ball.. DH took Princess to the 1st game of her weekend tournament(she was playing as a pick up player since the stingrays team coaches got in a fight while Princess was hurt and the whole team split up.. but Princess likes the girls and coaches on this team and they like her so we think she will play out the rest the season with them, think that is like only 4 more tournaments, they are not a power house nationally ranked team like she has been playing on but since she missed half the season because of her toe and now her team split up she is happy just to be playing this summer, though I don't think they will be bring home trophy after trophy like her team did last summer.) While DH and Princess was at her game.. I dropped Sweet Pea and Little Man off at my grandma's because they didn't want to spend 2 1/2 hours at the baseball field, and that is where I was heading to watch Mr Man's game.. Neither Princess or Mr Man won there games but they had fun.. Mr Man's game ended in a tie and was called because of the time limit which was ok with me because it was already pushing 9pm and we got there at 5:30pm I forgot to take the camera with me to his game but I had my cell phone so here are the pics I took with it of Mr. Mans game.

After the game Mr Man went and spent the night with my grandpa and Sweet pea and Little Man came home with me, when we got home DH and Princess was already home.. I got the kids cleaned up and to bed.

Saturday

Mr Man went fishing with my dad and Grandpa bright and early out on dads boat. The rest of us left the house at 11AM went to my parents house dropped off Sweet Pea and Little Man because they wanted to swim and play with friends over watching there big sister play ball.. Then we were off to the ball park Princess had two games one at 2pm and one at 5pm. My in laws came to the games in between the games we did a picnic lunch and had a good time.. though the 1st game it was extremely hot and I got a sun burn but during the 2nd game the temps dropped and we sat in the rain watching the game and it was so cold. Sunday

I woke up and the room wouldn't stop spinning I got dress and tried to keep going at it.. but I was so dizzy that I ended up throwing up at that point I knew I wasn't going any where that morning so I climbed back into bed.. I called my mom and she took the kids back home with her after church and kept them over night again..

Princess had one more game which they lost, DH took her to that.. Here are the pictures..

After she got home she got dressed and played on the computer a bit.. He and her left for youth group that evening.. I just stayed in bed the whole day.. I did wake up to try to eat something for lunch but didn't feel like eating after a bit or two.. and then I tried a little something for dinner.. I think I slept till 11:30AM then was back to sleep by 12:30pm slept till 4:30pm was back to sleep by 6pm At that time I went and sat out in the yard with DH for an hour and then I went back to bed at 10pm and slept till 9AM this morning.. Don't know what it was that I had but I didn't feel well at all, Thankfully I woke up this morning and felt fine.

So that was my weekend.. How was yours.. hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.

As a parting gift.. I thought i would show you this cute little 4 week old pug puppy.. My In laws just bought her.. can't bring her home for a few more weeks.. but this is there new dog..

Today my mother inlaw meet with the cancer doctor and found out what was going on and what the next move would be.. While yes she does have leukemia it is only in the 0 stage(our of 0-4) So she doesn't have to do anything.. It is very early on and she doesn't have to do any sort of treatment. What she has to do is have blood work done every other month and they will just monitor her to see if there are any changes..
God is so Good.. Thank you all for your prayers for her.

Friday June 5, 2009

Friday was our 1st day of summer break... LOVE not having to wake up with an alarm clock.. We started the day slow got a little bit of cleaning and laundry done, then in the afternoon took the boys to get there hair cut(bad blogger I have become I didn't take pictures) Afterwards the boys both went and spent the night with my mom and dad. Came home had dinner and Princess went to a party at a friends house.. Sweet Pea and I trimmed up the rose bushes and got them looking better. I had a friend stop by when she saw me outside and she stayed and talked for about 2 hours, and then Sweet Pea and I watched a movie. Then picked up Princess from the party and then went to bed.

My mom and Little Man went garage saleing all morning, My dad and Mr Man went out on the boat and went fishing.. Here are a few of the fish that Mr Man pulled in.

DH and Princess picked up Princess's friend K.D. and took off to watch another one of Princess's friends play in a softball tournament..(OHHHHHHH Princess got the OK from her toe to start playing again this coming weekend)
Sweet Pea and I spent the morning shopping for a birthday gift for her friend T.N., Then in the afternoon I took Sweet Pea to the birthday party. While she was there I spent my time trimming down the totally over grown bushes in the back yard, then my mom called to stay she was bring Little Man home because he was wanting to come home, so I cleaned up the yard and took a shower and they got here while I was getting dress. Then it was off to pick up Sweet Pea from the party.. ONLY when I got there they asked if she could just go ahead and spend the night with the birthday girl so I said yes and went home and got her stuff to spend the night.

DH and Princess got home and dropped K.D. off at her house but a bit later Princess was asking if another one of her friends could come over and spend the night so I said sure..

Mr Man went back to my parents to help clean fish and spend the night .. Little Man was not himself and fell asleep early(that would be by 9pm) At that point we left Princess and her friend K.Y. stay in the house with the sleeping boy and we went and sat out in the yard just to enjoy the night. That was Saturday.

Sunday June 7, 2009

Got dressed for church woke up the rest of the people in the house feed them breakfast and then left to pick up Sweet Pea from her friends house Got everyone dressed and we all went to church. After church ALL the kids came home with us.. that is odd, normally they are going to this grandma or that grandma after church but yesterday they all came home with me. Once we got home Princess took off with K.Y. and they went kayaking, Mr Man had his friend T.M. come over. Little Man and Sweet Pea just played, and DH who wasn't feeling very well took a nap. I thought I would finish up the yard work by trimming the bushes in the front yard and that called for another shower.. When I was done and dressed it was time to pick up Princess and friends to take them to youth group.. I feed Little Man and Sweet Pea dinner when we got back from dropping off Princess and then we got dressed and headed back to church for PM church.

After church I thought it would be fun to got to the drive-in with the kids.. So I took Little Man, Sweet Pea and her friend T.N.(who spent the night), Princess, her friend S.F. and J. L. to the drive-in movies While DH took Mr Man and his friend to watch a wrestling pay per view at BW's

The movie ended at one in the morning.. all the kids made it except the boys who were with us.. that would be Little Man, the 4 year old and Princess's friend J.L. who after the movie was sleeping in a camping chair LOL.. but we all had fun.. DH and boys were home waiting for us when we got home.. and we put all the kids to bed and got to bed ourselves around 2am.

That is how the first weekend of June 2009 went.

My MIL found out today that she has cancer again, about 5 years ago she had breast cancer, but today she found she has Leukemia..

Wordless Wednesday (June 3, 2009)

Princess 2006 on her local softball team back when she was in 3rd grade. Princess 2009 on the Local Jr High spring ball this year, 7th grade.

She is missing her softball, but she goes back tomorrow for another xray on her foot she is hoping they tell her she can take off the post opt. shoe and get back on the ball field even though it has only been 2 weeks and they said 4 or 5.. I'll keep you all posted.

Memorial day 2009

Sorry I didn't get back here over the weekend to finish up the post about our Memorial day weekend, but DH's aunt passed away and we ended up out of state all weekend I'll write about this past weekend tomorrow right now I'll finish up last weeks weekend recap.

Monday May 25, 2009, Memorial Day 2009

We started the day off at home nice and slow and relaxed since we had been on the go the rest of the weekend(if you didn't read about that just look under this post)

DH and I were at home, Princess was still over at K.D.'s house spending the night from the party the night before, and the 3 younger ones had spent the night at my parents house..

DH had to work this night so he wanted to stay at home and rest and watch the Land of the Lost Marathon.. So that is what we let him do. At 11AM I picked up Princess from the party at 11:30AM she and I were off picking up her friend S.B. and then went to my parents and picked up the younger 3 and then headed over my IL's house for a picnic. It was a nice time.

Around 2:30pm we went back to my parents loaded up the van and the Boat and headed off to a smaller lake(which is still a big lake just not one of the Great Lakes that I normally head too) for an afternoon of boating and swimming and tanning and I even got some reading in while laying on the boat.

We got home around 7:30PM just as DH was heading to work. He ordered us a pizza(us being me and the kids and Princess's friend he had to leave for work) then at around 9PM S.B went home and I got the kids bathed and ready for bed. by 10:30pm everyone was in bed and that is how we spent the holiday..
